We have been going to Casa Tina for four years. We went back this year for lunch with our daughter and son-in-law telling them how wonderful this place was. The food was still good, what there was of it, very small portions. The chips were brought in a fist sized basket with a handful of chips. We ordered a beer, two Mojitoes, and a Margarita. If you decide to eat here I would recommend not ordering drinks as they are very expensive. Two plates we ordered were $6.95, two others were $7.95 and our bill came to $58.00 for lunch! I would not recommend Casa Tinas anymore unless you have money to burn and want to lose weight.

WOW! I don't even like typical Mexican food but this meal was fantastic- ate every bite. My boyfriend likes Mexican food and also thought it was delish!! The sauces are excellent not too salty or spicy like most places. It was at an odd time and the manager took care of us- very friendly and eager to make your meal a delight. Oh yeah- Beware! The sangria has wine it but you'd never know it. You'll find out when you stand up lol...They actually took the time to have had real fruit marinating in it... I give this place 5 STARS!! Not to mention it's in quaint little Dunedin- a fun spot to stroll through.

My wife and I love Mexican food. We found Casa Tina on this site and decided to try it out. We called and made reservations for 7:30 pm and arrived shortly before that time. We were told our table was not quite ready so we went to the busy bar and waited for an easy ten minutes before we were asked for our order which was a glass of sangria and a Corona. Twenty minutes after arriving for our 7:30 reservation we got out drinks. We stood at the bar area because there was no where to sit down and the bartender gave me the bill for the drinks- $11.40!!!!! Yes, $11.40 for 1 Corona beer and 1 small glass of sangria. Never having paid more than $5.00 a glass for sangria at any restaurant EVER and never having paid more than $3.50 for a Corona EVER, we stewed. Half an hour had gone by and still we had not been called for our reservation. We left without eating. We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is poorly managed, overpriced, noisy and parking is a definite pproblem. Thumbs down on this establishment.

Just ate at this wonderful, colorful and unique restaurant. It was not our first experience. We try to have all our celebrations there. The first time, we heard it was family owned and operated and that's all we had to hear. We've found these are usually the friendliest places, and not a bunch of stuffed shirts. The food was their usual; outstanding. There was 3 family members and 4 from out of town. Everyone was very pleased with their meals, service, beverages and atmosphere. The Talopia Fahitas were the best I've had anywhere and we eat out a lot. The fish was precisely seasoned, fell apart with a fork, and was served hot. The Sangria was excellent. You do have to wait a little, but that's what you get when they make everything fresh. It's worth it. Can't wait to go back. I think some of the naysayers don't have much experience with a truly authentic Mexican restaurant.

I was not very happy on this Valentines day going to Casa Tina, I ordered Chicken Fagitas and was not very good, it taste kind of dry but my husbands beef fagitas was very good. also was not very happy about having to pay for a second round of chips with hot sauce, I always get free hot sauce and tortilla chips for free at a mexican restaurant. Here you pay extra after first round. I just dont think is smart to charge extra when u r ordering 18.00 plate but drinks were good and service is ok not the best but ok

I used to go to Casa's all the time when it was next door in the smaller rest. The service was better, food was better, and the price has almost doubled. I understand someone has to help her pay for the new restaurant, but it is Mexican food, cheap! It is way too loud now too, don't go if you want to get cozy or talk to your party. I know restuarants change sometime, but this one not for the better. There are plently of good places to eat in Dunedin, this is not one of them anymore.

I just ate at Casa Tina. This is a dangerously bad restaurant. I am a vegetarian. I told this to the waiter. He said no problem. I ordered a vegetarian burrito. It came with beans and rice. But what arrived was a beef burrito and the beans and rice were made with animal fat. i have a beef allergy. i thought it was wierd...the burrito was cold. I ate a small amount of beans and rice and 2 bites of the burrito when i realized it was beef not vegetables. the burrito is covered so i would not have known right away. within 30 minutes i had chills, felt sick, wanted to vomit. the entire night i had stomach cramps. the next day i felt like a freight train had run over me. Never eat in this establishment...it is dangerous to your health

I just ate for the first time at Casa Tina's in Dun edin fl and that was the worst mexican food I have ever eaten in my life!!! Everything tasted disgusting, disgusting, disgusting, and more distusting! We were not sure what came with the different meals so we asked our waitress. She stated we would get STEAK and CHICKEN with our meal along with sauces and condiments. What we recieved for $60 was tiny salsa dishes with a mystery meat mixed with a sauce. So I warn you all do not waste your time or money at this restaurant!!! Thank you all!
