This place is 5 STARS all the way. Pure Family and Authentic Italian Cuisine. I grew up eating Real Italian Food from my Grandmother and this is as good or the Best I've ever had since leaving New York. A True Italian told me about it years ago and if someone doesn't like this food or leaves there Hungry then someone didn't order right or miscommunicated to the Owner who is there cooking for you. No Menu. And you get what you pay for and more. It's like several courses each time I go and I can't wait to go back each time which I save for Special Occasions like this Saturday. Reservations Only is the way to go as if you try to walk in you might get stuck out with no place to sit as this place only has about 6 to 10 tables. I'm so busy with the atmosphere and food that I could care less about the tables, but whatever you pick he'll bring it to your table to pick out your cut of meat or the cut of fish or etc..etc.
Take it from a True Italian that grew up with Grandma's Cooking where she was from Italy, that this is the Best Italian Food I've found in over 35 Years in Florida

About a 1/4 of a Mile from Belcher & 580 (main st.) in Dunedin. Tucked in the corner of the shopping Plaza on the North side of the Road... Seek it out .. You'll be glad you did.
What an amazing restaurant!!! Da Gaetano (the owner and host) was fantastic as well was the rest of the staff. He offered, basically anything you would like to eat. We started our meal off with a fantastic artichoke with oil and seasoning dipping sauce, homemade bread, and salad. Da Gaetano then presented the different types of fresh meats he had for the day, offered suggestions on how they would be prepared, or if you wanted, he was happy to prepare them anyway you would like. The food quality, atmosphere, generous portions (especially the wine), made this one of my favorite restaurants EVER. For the record, I had the Pasta Carbonara which was exquisite, my fiancée had the veal chop. I have eaten at some of the finest establishments around, but I don’t think I have ever tasted a better cut of meat. 5 big stars!!!!

Theyâre all wonderful, but given the quality of food and price, my favorite, hands down, is Gaetanos.
My wife and I were there Friday and ordered the lobster (it was our anniversary) in pink sauce (without amaretto) over pasta, and we literally commented at nearly every bite at how amazingly good it was. It is pretty cool to be just as blown away by the last bite of a dish as the first.
The food is superb...what little you get of it! First time I have ever eaten at an Italian restaurant & left hungry. A 1/2 a pound of pasta, served family style is not enough for a table of four. That makes the place very overpriced!
What a great place. We love bring new people to this place. The service is excellent, and the food is the best in Tampa Bay. I've been visiting since 1994. Never had a bad experience. He makes the best Filet with brown peppercorn sauce and pasta. Mr. Palmieri (The Italian Guy) and his wife are great hosts. His nephew (the chef) is very good as well.
If you've tried the big expensive places, then try this place. They beat Berns, Capital Grill and Ruth's Chris everytime. Once you try it, you'll keep going back.
Pure Heaven! Excellent food and friendly service. It's not a fancy place, but you wouldn't know that by the food. A bit pricey but completely worth it! And they DON'T scrimp on the wine - our glasses are always filled to the rim - we don't know how they get them to the table without spilling. We feel very lucky to have found this little gem.
Great food and people, one of the Bay Areas best restaraunts. If you leave hungry it is your fault. I recommend that if you go with a group everyone order something different and share. No item is beyond your imagination if you can vision a dish the chef will make it. There is no menus and it is order what you feel and want, not what is given to you on a menu.
