LA Spada's Original Steaks, Dunedin

I used to love this place, but the philly's have really gone down in quality. Very disappointing. I like the new location, but they need to get the quality back.

I heard all this hip hip hooray about this place. It was LAME. The man at the counter looked mean and like he was ready to chew your head off for asking questions about the food. I even said this is my first visit here, so why not recommend and tell me a little bit about your place?? The cheese is dumped on the fries, so beware. Like 99% of all other restaurants the cheese sauce is always on the side. The steak n cheese was OK, but no big deal. They don't even toast the bun. Go to Mikey's NY Deli & Pizza down the street from Delco's for a better mouth watering steak n cheese!

I ordered the pizza steak, huge mistake. It had an orange sauce on it and the meat was like a sloppy joe. My wife had a roast pork and was good. I gave them a try again at brighthouse field but no sauce this time. It tasted ok but I think they use swiss american instead of white american cheese. I've tried all the cheesesteak places in the area. Philly's on East Bay in Largo has been around longer than anyone and is by far still the best

I've visited La Spadas three times, and ordered steak and cheese twice and chicken and cheese the other. The hoagies are quite large and stuffed with plenty of beef or chicken. However, I'm not sure what kind of beef it was, since it was ground up like a sloppy joe without any sauce. Guess I'm used to thinly sliced and seasoned rib eye. However, the beef did taste juicy. The sub could have used more cheese or cheese whiz, and the buns were not oven fresh baked like I'm used to. The hoagies could use some tweaking and improvement, before they are genuine Philly cheese steaks.

Perfection... is what it comes to with this steak. rest of menu is very good but first timers get the cheesesteak

Missing Philly? This is one of the only true and best Philly Cheese Steak sandwich shops in the Tampa Bay area. Don't miss the Philly Pizza Steak sandwich either. Be prepared for standing room only, it's popular and crowed and well worth the drive. It is now named Delco's and it is in the Sweet Bay shopping center.

I have eaten at the original shop in pa. when still owned by the LaSpada family and the cheesesteaks are not the same tried the Italian special hoagie was pretty good.

if you want a philly steak, this is the place!! the prices are good, service is fast, packed at lunch time. but worth the wait.

Love Delco and the onion rings are to blow your diet for the chicken hoagie is awesome
