Kally K's Steakery & Fishery, Spring Hill

Kally K s Steakery & Fishery Restaurant Spring Hill, Florida is NOT a kid friendly place as they are trying to make people believe now that their precious old people are kicking the bucket. If you go there with kids they want to stick you way in the back of the building in a empty room where just tables with hard seats are, and that your children have to walk by drunk nasty child hating yankee wanabees to get to the big good salad bar or even the bathrooms. We were not even given the option of the nice part of the resturaunt until after I had to get loud at one of these nasty drunk people who had the nerve to actually say something nasty to my children and we were leaving. Well by acting like this your not going to get more younger croud and your not going to replace the old people. I sure as heck anit gona be bringing myself or my kids back in there and will make sure to tell everyone why.

This place has a great menu!! The food is good, plentiful and well-prepared. The salad bar was fresh and the dressings tasted homemade. Had the broiled trout dinner with almondine sauce and it was delicious. Priced at 10.95 including salad bar was a bargain.

Good food. Excellent selection. Excellent presentation. Nice and pleasant waitresses.

Kally K's is an incredible place to eat and has been for years. No its not the fanciest place. Its not expensive, its not pretentious, its just plain good and friendly. More so than that its CLEAN! My family has been eating there for years. So when we heard that some folks got the norovirus there (one night) I thought I wonder what their record with the health department is. Inquired over the internet and they would not release the info to me. So I braved up and called. Christina, one of the owners said if I came in she would show me copies of her reports. They had been there almost 15 years and NEVER had a violation. I took my family back and we had a great meal there this past Saturday night. Looking around I was too embarrassed to even ask for the records, I wish more places were that clean.

I have lived in Spring Hill for 6+ years and have been eating at Kally K's quite a bit. For someone to say they got sick from the food here is absolutely ludicrous! The Norovirus, which is what this poster is referring to, was said to have originated at Kally K's. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard! How surprising that many of the people who got sick just got back from a cruise ... Cruise ships are susceptible to the Norovirus, as are hospitals and nursing homes. People and the Media should THINK before they try and destroy the livelihoods of others! I hope the owners of this restaurant SUE the hell out of the St. Pete Times and Bay News 9. What a wonderful experience was had at this fine dinning establishment. The staff was warm and friendly and treated us like family. The salad bar was exceptional! Everything was fresh and our entrees were out of this world. This was one of the cleanest restaurants that I have ever eaten at. How lucky Spring Hill is to have this eatery in their own backyard!

we ate at Kally Kays last Thursday night and three of the four of us got deadly sick.sicker then dogs............ we usually eat here two or three times a month.usually very good............ this trip was bad within a few hours we we spending our time in the bathroom..........had salmon and salad bar....................will not go back for a while and will never eat salmon there again.............

We go to Kally K's quite often. Most of the food is good, but there are some things that I didn't care for, which happens in most restaurants. We really like their hamburgers, lasagne, and the captain's fish platter is wonderful!! The salad bar is small, but for us, it has a good selection of items. We love the soups - they are not too salty, and they change the flavors every day. They offer daily specials which most include the soup/salad bar. The prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is friendly.

I took my family there and the place was awesome! They Had a huge salad bar and the shrimp that i order were delicious! The environment reminded me of an ancient Italian or Greek city! I recommend this place to everyone!
