I visited this facility with my fiance because it seemed perfect and a good value for a wedding. When we visited the facility, we both loved the place and how it was set up. The surrounding area was not very nice, though. We attempted to set up a tasting and had decided to book our wedding. We called Daphne several times and she was very unprofessional. She did not call me back for at least 3-4 weeks. I simply requested a tasting and had a few other questions about the facility before holding a date. I attempted to call a few more times with no return call or consideration. I have decided to look for another facility (since my wedding is not for another 11 months) because I do not want to give one dollar to a facility that cannot return one call. I was shocked that any business could flourish with such unprofessional and inconsiderate staff.
Sean and I opted to have our wedding reception 10 yrs ago at the Spartan Manor.
We found their services and food as well as the overall ambiance wonderfull there.
lets face it weddings are thir speciality.. As the bride I enjoyed snacks and help with my 5 foot train being busseled in the bridal suite.. lol their are alot of silly pics from that room.
Our reception rooms were decorated to the nines as well as all of our guests taken care of and they were all helped by the staff finding their tables.
we chose the full reception package wich gave us limosine service to the curch and to reception for all attendants and family.
a cocktail and hore's durves hour, in wich the bride, groom and attendants were all announced. lets not forget the never ending champagne glasses that we all enjoyed throught the night... I still wonder if that was included or if my parents footed that bill...lol
a full dinner in wich there were 3 meal options for guests to choose. it was after dinner that we had our first dance and the dJ started the party off
later in the night we had a room of nothing but cordials an cakes along with our wedding cake for all of our guests to enjoy.
we also had open bar till 9pm from wich the birde and groom had choice of top shelf liqours as well as any other we chose, then it went to a cash bar (so we could help our guests be safe) as well as the Spartan offered to call cabs for anyone in need)
with our package we recieved a bottle of champagne with our names and wedding date along with the cake top to enjoy on our first annivarsary...
all in all we were very pleased with the outcome of our reception, If we had it to do over we would definatly choose the Spartan again
