Joe's Family Restaurant, Inverness

My wife and I ate lunch at Joe's on 12/26/10. Although the waitress was friendly and courteous, the food was horrific. Every single item on our plates was very bland and either cold or barely warm. The sweet potatoes were cold, the rueben sandwich was cold and soggy, with very little saurkraut, the hot roast beef sandwich was a cold roast beef with cold gravy. All in all, not a good experience. Also, the cashier was rude and indifferent. Won't be back. Local Residents

I thoroughly enjoy Joes. I am a frequent costumer, and i especially love to go on Sundays when they Have their Lamb, Its probably the best around. Especially considering lamb is very hard to find. The staff is always helpful and pleasant.

We tried Joe's for the 1st time on Christmas day. My stupid family cancelled our lunch just minutes before we were supposed to sit down to eat. We went to Joes instead and the service was GREAT!!!!!!!!! Everyone was friendly and acted like they were close friends to the customers. I had the salad and fried whitefish. The fish was so big, it covered my dinner plate. Everything was delightful. We'll definately go again.

I have been to Joe's at least 5 times in the last couple of months. The portions of food are so much that I have left there every time with to go boxes. I like the fact that some of the food has not been so over whelemed with salt and other seasonings. I have had to leave food before because the salt would gag you. Alot of us can't have salt due to health reasons. I like to put on my own anyway. The service has always been very good. On take out orders when they tell you it will be ready in 15-20 mins. it has been ready every time they have said. It could be better organized as far as room goes and where you have to pay your bill, but there is a in and out door incase some have not noticed. Keep up the good food and service and I will be a long time customer. Thanks Joe

I like Joe's, I really do, but as a previous reviewer stated the food is VERY bland. Senior citizens on the whole seem to like non-seasoned food. This is one senior who happens to like my food well seasoned. I' ve also left Joe's hungry. I've found some portions too small for the price. I don't expect the whole cow, but don't slice the meat so thing that I can read the Chronicle through it. The staff is friendly and the food is served fast and hot, unlike some of the other local chain restaurants. All in all, as long as there are not too many people waiting to be seated, Joe's is worth a short stint on line.

The Food isn't bad but it is very bland..no flavor! They need to move where the waitress's come out because they run over you as your being seated. Second they need a one way entrance in and a one way entrance out which they could do very easily. When you go to pay your bill, you have to lst dodge the waitress's and then dodge the people standing around the register to pay your bill. Just totally dis-orginazed Rest.

I love their lamb chops.....my favorite at Joe's
