Shogun Japanese Steak Hou, Venice

I've been coming here with my family for over 10 years. Best Hibachi style steakhouse I've ever had, and I've been to plenty. There sauces are absolutely addictive. One downside is that they don't have sushi.

I have eaten at Shogun several times and have always found the food satisfying and the staff pleasant. The atmosphere is 1970's but it gives me a nostalgic feeling for the past. I am headed there shortly for my Mothers Day choice of eatery.

this was our 3th bad experience in shogun ... it used to be a great place to eat ... what happened? the cook looked liked he does not want to work that day , our food was just edible ... the waitress never re-filled our drinks.

shoguns was not good went there for birthday party and had kids refills are not free it is overpriced and the kids meals don't include anything. kumo is so much better the decorating so so much more soothing. Got more food for a lower price.spent morE on sodas at shoguns than the food. WILL NOT GO BACK EAT AT KUMO SO MUCH BETTER AND BETTER PRICED

Over-rated ! Service was ok but food lacked passion and quality. This place needs a face lift inside. Old and depressing. Try KUMO Japanese Steak House on Venice Ave. You wont be disapointed !!

This place is awesome!! The food is wonderful, especially the orange sauce they give with the meat. (I think it's called mustard sauce.) I also tried Kumo restaurant on Venice Ave., but the food is not NEARLY as good, and HIGH PRICES!! The quality and TASTE of food is so much better than Kumo, and they don't overcharge you either. VERY affordable, but doesn't take away the quality of it! The sauces they give are wonderful! Go here, you will not be disappointed!!

This is my son's favorite place to eat in Venice. The show is great. and the food the best. The orange sause served with the seafood is a winner. A must.
