Have eaten there several times over the last year, but after last week won't go back. Service was not good and food was just average. This was not the first time with poor service, but I believe in giving them a second chance, unfortunately the service was poor and the food quality has gotten worst.
If you have only have one day in Crystal River, go to Pecks. It is what your best vision of what a remote Florida seafood restaurant should be. It specializes in fried seafood but can fix it anyway you want.
first off they don't charge for water. never have. and their are many many other items on the menu that aren't fried. i had the blacked grouper which was fantastic. their platers also can be blacked or broiled.
We thought about trying someplace different for my husbands birthday and went to Peck's. It was a very pleasant surprise. The service was o.k. but, I think our waitress was not as good as the other waitresses there. The snow crab was the sweetest I've tasted just about anywhere!!And I do love my snow crab so I know what I'm talking about. It was a casual place and I was quite comfortable in jeans.I ate until I hurt b/c the food was so good. The prices were very reasonable, most of all rhe entres were under $20. The drive out is very senic, great for motorcycles.I'm sure we'll go there again.
