Roessler's Restaurant, Sarasota

Came 10 minutes late, place was empty. Appetizer was good. Salad was little more than one lettuce leaf and took an hour. Waiter was rude and inattentive, and was punishing our party for being late by purposely holding service. Three parties of four came 20 to 30 minutes after we did, and received and finished entrees, while our entrees never came. After 90 minutes we told the manager we were no longer going to wait. He was rude and unapologeti c, and sarcastically said 'that's what happens when you're late'. We paid for the food and drink that actually made it to our table. Our water was never refilled, nor was the pathetic 4 small pieces of bread initially served after the first 30 minutes. Beware..if you go here, you may get what you deserve. We`were harassed upon leaving, and threatened, even though we paid for all the food that reached our cursed table.
