Family Table Restaurant, North Port

The restaurant looks very nice and clean. Food quality is poor and tasteless. You can find better places where to go and have a better meal for the price.

I never write reviews, but I checked these out and decided to take a chance on The Family Table. First time I've been there. I guess it has recently been remodeled, which looks very nice. I thought the prices were a little high until the ridiculously huge portions came out. My husband got the chicken parmesan, which could feed me for 3-4 meals. Great prices for amount of food. I love that the food isn't a reproduction of generic items. Good service. I will be going again based on my first visit.

This restaurant is the nicest restaurant in north port award winning for best early birds.. best food etc.. who ever wrote bad reviews honestly do not know what they are talking about.. i would recommend them to anyone.. They are A+ no matter which way you look at it..

Great eating experience. Didn t have to wait in line...plenty of room. Waitresses are always checking to make sure everything is ok. Food was the best and plenty of it! I ve been here several times and always a good experience.

I have lived in NorthPort for over 12 years. This is the BEST restaurant in town... you could eat here for a month and not have had everything on the menu. I have never been disappointed in my food. They always serve way to much for one person. Our favorite waiter is Bexhet. The owner is Enver and will go out of his way to please you - his customer. The picture posted is not the same restaurant. They have truly upscaled the interior and exterior of this restaurant. You will never go away from this place hungry. They also serve 'early bird' specials for only $ 6.99.. You get meat potatos, salad/or soup and dessert. I prefer ordering from the main menu. The best ever desserts and the best coffee there is. The picture posted on this site is not what this restaurant looks like today!

Wonderful food, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. This is one of our favorite places for breakfast. We have been there many times and will keep going to this nice restaurant.

We moved to North Port in Feb. 2007 and we always heard how good it was so we decided to try it out... the food they brought out was cold and nasty. I had the grouper and it tasted like it has been sitting out for a few hours or more before they served it. I was literally sick to my stomach after we ate there. But who knows maybe it was just a bad day for them. I'm not here to judge anyone and everyone has bad experiences every now and again. Overall ther service was great!

I moved up here nine months ago. this is my favorite restaurant. I eat out15 times a week, and probably at this place 5 times a week... have never complained about anything ... the service is fantastic... my favorite server is Brenda in the morning and David at night, .... their breakfast special and coffee under 5 bucks.... it's a home cooked meal for me... the atmosphere is the nicest around and not noisy like other places... those idiots who complained about this place are nuts!!! ... I have walked out of other places around here for their slow service.... always right on their toes around this place.... I totally recommend the FTR for dinning out... also like the corn beef and cabbage Wednesday nights... most restaurants have the thin deli corn beef, this was a little thicker.... well anyway I'm just rambling on ... try it for yourself ... everyone has a bad day... but I haven't at this place yet...
