Beachhouse Restaurant, Bradenton Beach

i loove this place, perfect to go out on a wknd , have a great frozen drink and lunch, coconut shrimp or grouper sandwich..yummy! then walk the beach!

I'm not hard to please, but the seafood (Seafood Medley) was the worst I ever eaten in a restaurant. The shrimp, fish, crab cake were overcooked and chewy. The scallops, bake potato and vegetable were OK. This was my only visit and cook may of had a bad night, but I won't go there again.

I been here twice dispointed both times! Sitting outside is wonderful, but the food was awful!! Did not have a good selection, actually didnt have much at all, very over price for not having anything to choose from. Never again will I go!!!

One of the best experiences EVER! The food was amazing, our server Tommy took very good care of us. Sit outside to see some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see! We had such a great time we went back our last night on the island.

We have gone there the past 2 years and this year (2008) will make it our 3rd. The service isn't the best, and drink prices are somewhat overpriced, but the view is spectacular! The price of the food and drinks is well worth it if you can watch the sunset there. I suggest going early and planning on staying a while to enjoy everything. We typically stay for 2 hours or longer. Be sure to leave a good tip for your time. We highly suggest it though. :)

We visit Bradenton Beach twice a year and always eat here. The service is always great and so is the food. You must sit on the patio. Price is typical for beach restaurant.

During week of March 16,2008, my family and I went and ordered take out from this resteraunt. We ordered simple stuff, and the wait was incredibly long, over an hour, and the service was not polite and slow. Unfortunately we did not ask for condiments before we left, and none were offered. I did not realize we needed to be on our toes like at a drive through and ask for everything. I think we ordered a hamburger and scallops and baked potato. The hamburger was edible, but not great, the scallops were OK, and the baked potato was not completly cooked.

If you plan to have your wedding at the Beach House Restaurant, plan to either hire a wedding planner or have plenty of help when it comes to organization, set-up, and flow of the event. The Beach House prided (and sold) itself on how well and experienced they were at showcasing weddings. Trusting them at their word was foolish. I paid the price for having the Beach House host my wedding. The table set-up of my wedding was totally wrong, even though I gave them a seating chart designed in Visio. What made it worse is that no one listened or seemed to care. I had to move tables myself, set up the place card table, the dj table and gift card table. In addition, because they didn’t understand where and how to properly place centerpieces and favors on tables, I had to do that too. It was ridiculous. I spent more time working on setting up the room than actually getting ready for “my big day”. And, the flow of the event was extremely disappointing. The Beach House wedding coordinator was neither seen nor heard from throughout the evening. In otherwords, there is no wedding coordinator. The Beach House just provides space and food -- almost like an upscale pavilion.
