The Snook Inn
With one of the best views of the Snook River, this Marco Island staple restaurant and bar is the epitome of Florida-Style. Originally called the Snook Hole for its ideal location for fishing, the Snook Inn has been a favorite of locals and visitors alike for over 30 years. Sit back, relax, and take in the landscape as boats sail by, dolphins swim, and birds swoop just outside. Dine indoors or out, and don't miss the restaurant's signature items created by the executive chef. Try Shrimp Denny, scallop-stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon and topped with hollandaise sauce, or dig into a bowl of Spicy Tomato Conch Chowder, or perhaps a plate of Caribbean BBQ Baby Back Ribs. Not one to leave anyone wanting, the Snook's also offers a full salad bar, homemade pies, and a kids' menu. If you're looking to have a cocktail, stop by the Chickee Bar with its thatched roof and happy hour, or just sit back and take in the live music. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop for a souvenir of what is sure to be a fun dining experience. Check out the website for upcoming music events, or to find out when the next hog roast is happening.
Ah, you young'uns have no idea how many memories and ancient spirits souround this place...We pulled in with our boat in the '70s and my deceased folks have so many great stories...well, the grouper fingers are fantastic and Betty and Kathy are/were the best. We're other places now, but have wonderful karma...
I was happy as a clam!! The Snook Inn gives the fun with the family that you need when on vacation, coming from New York!! Food is very good and service over the top. I recommend this to anyone!!! Very easy on the pocket as well!
The atmosphere is everything they say but the food is average at best and is over priced for what you get. The service is a crap shoot. Sometimes your service is wonderful other times you are constantly hunting down your server.
This is the best seafood restaurant in the world. The atmosphere is appropriate for the theme and the food, and the food is outstanding! Whether you are getting a plate of crab legs and fried oysters or a slab of ribs on rib night, everything is fabulous! I always love going to their chickee bar and listening to the live entertainment. I also love watching the dolphins swim, the pelicans play, and the boats going by. There is also a sunken sailboat right across the river...which is pretty cool. I love the Snook Inn.
Food is ok...not bad but not great. Views of the water are superb. Service is poor, be prepared to be ignored by your waiter/waitress. Took my wife, business client and his wife to dinner...lipstick on my wine glass when I received a refill. Yuck.
I don't know what to say about this one because it is based on the people who have boats, they attend to their needs more often, and it is abit on the snobbish side, I must say nice food and all that but it is the people that goes there.
Aside from 4 acres of beautiful waterfront park, Caxambas Park also has public launches to set off into the water.
A concessions store will supply you with all your boating needs including food and drinks, fishing gear, and sunscreen. ...
