Little Italy Restaurant, Naples

During a trip to Naples in Oct/Nov this year, there was a gas line problem and many restaruants were not open or had very limited menus. We chose to try Little Italy because they were open and had an extensive menu. The place was very full and we were happy we were able to get a reservation. Our waiter (who we suspected was either the Manager or the Owner) raved about the food quality. Well, quite frankly, the food was the worst Italian food we ever tasted. All our meals were poor. Since my husband is Italian (originally from NYC), we really enjoy Italian food in our home and in restaurants. -----At Little Italy, we chose stuffed shells----It was a awaful.....The stuffing tasted like pure ricotta with no mozzarella or parmesan cheese etc. to make it flavorful. -------We will never go back.

What great time we had at this restaurant.We came with 35 guest to honor our father on his 85th birthday.We had an intimate cocktail hour in the lounge and were then treated to very delicious food. The entire staff from the initial greet to the end of our time here was very warm and professional.several of our guests asked for items that were not on the menu and were accomodated easily. I will tell everyone how great an experience we had .They are purveyors of home cooked Italian comfort food.Thank you all for a wonderful experience.Mike E.
