Joey's Pizza & Pasta House, Marco Island

Best pizza and pasta on Marco! Love the pasta with red sauce and even the pizza amazes me with the delicous crust, cheese and don't forget the sauce!

This place is awesome. Best antipasta salad we have had anywhere! We want the recipe because we can't find anything even close up north.

I just called Joey's Pizza to do a call ahead and the guy that answered the phone was the rudest person I had ever spoken to. I have eaten there before and it was okay. You would think in this economy that the level of professionalism would be better. There are plenty of other places that I take my family to.

The seating hostess was horrible. The people that work there should get some manners. They are not friendly and rude at times. Maybe Joey should hire new people, the food is good, but like i said the employees need some public relations seminars. Take out is horrible also,,

While visiting from Phila, Pa, we were hungry for pizza and decided to give Joey’s a try. We were a party of two and seated right away. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal. Service was attentive. We enjoyed the house salad with a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. We also had a tomato pie (sauce on top of cheese), which was also great, but I would recommend asking for extra sauce on this pizza, as it was a tad dry for our taste. Being a “northerner” I would compare this restaurant to a “Bertucci’s” chain up north, but better. The one major downfall of our visit was that the establishment allows smoking at the front of their bar, which is all open and carries through the restaurant with the light up of ONE cigarette. We really think the owners should focus on their food and ban the smoking around food consumption.

Calamari Joey's Way is by far the best calamari my husband, friends and I have ever had, and we have had calamari all over New York! The first thing we do when we get to our Marco condo is figure out when our first meal at Joey's will be. We talk about it before we get there, too. Joey's - WE MISS YOU! Can't wait to get back down there!

We just returned from Marco and will be back for a week two more times this season and definitely won't be back to this restaurant. Lacking quality, service and value. Food was not fresh, waited 10-15 minutes after being seated for waiter to come to table. We were just about to leave when he came to table and continued conversation with a female co-worker. Should have left at that point, our mistake. Won't happen again.

We had been here a few years ago, but don't remember it being so awful. Portions were much smaller, pasta seemed to have been sitting under warming lamp for a while, sausage on kids pizza was so dry it almost made them choke. Worst part was that with two entrees, a pizza and some soda's, the bill was over $75 before tip. Way over priced. Atmosphere was OK except for some guy in the back kept swearing at the employees loud enough to be heard by us and others in the dining area. Much better places to spend your time and money with your family than this place.

Horrible. Shame on the Marriott for recommending them. Worst experience we've had in over ten years. I agree with the last poster, straws were like stir sticks. Economy is hard on everyone, but this place is really cutting corners. Definitely would not recommend them to anyone. We did try Aldo's in Naples, worth the drive.
