Verona Pizza & Italian Restaurant, Bradenton

My wife called for a pizza and was told 25 min. and when I got to the restaurant I paid for my pizza and order a beer while I waited and there was a pizza sitting on top of the oven. While waiting for my pizza two more pizza was set on top of the one that was sitting there when I got there. Two customers came in and picked those up and then they decided to look at the name on the pizza that was sitting there the whole time I was there and ask if that was mine name and of course it was! So I sat there for 25 min. waiting for my pizza which was already done when I got there. So I got to take it home and eat it cold. I told them that it was sitting there the whole time I was there and all they could say was sorry my mistake. That is what I call wonderful service!!! Well as you see how they respond to reviews their customers leave, it been a week and not a word. It shows how they care about customers!

i don't go more than a week without buying a pie. it's the best pizza i've had in the 10 years i've been away from NYC. Excellent calzones and other items as well. Crazy busy on fridays, though and not open sundays :-(

We've been patronizing Verona's for many years. Their subs, pizza's, meals... it's ALL terrific! Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel a part of the family there. Our cousin came from Atlanta and has traveled the world and eaten in the best of places. We took her there for a quick supper one night and she raved on her dinner and wants to go back when she comes here for her next visit!! Joe, Kat and everyone... keep up the great work!! Haven't tried the pizza yet, but have ordered several pasta dishes for lunch. I couldn't believe the pasta portions! They are huge! I have yet to finish one! The spaghetti w/meatsauce is just like mom makes. Awesome! I think I might try the pizza next visit as everyone seems to love it. . .

Verona's pizza has been a family favorite ever since we discovered their restaurant about 5 years ago. It's absolutely the best!

We thought no one delivered pizza anymore--no one good, that is. We just tried Verona's pizza, and it was delicious. It arrived piping hot and more quickly than they said it would on the phone. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank goodness we've finally found great pizza in our area!

I wrote a contrast and compare essay for school. I wrote about Verona's and the typical corporate pizza places. By far Verona's is the best around. I have been getting pizzas, subs and salads from them for about 7 or 8 years and have never been dissappointed. Too bad I go to school in St Pete and not here in Bradenton. Sometimes it might take longer than the typical 30 minutes or less but, the taste is soooo much better and much higher quality ingredients. Thanks Verona and Crew

I live right around the corner and I still can't get enough :) This isn't that rubbery-cheese stuff you get from corporate chains, these are real Italians making some of the best pizza you could ever eat! My favorite is their white pizza with garlic, broccoli, bacon and tomato
