Dolce Vita Restaurant & Lounge, Sanibel

This place has it all... excellent food, great atmosphere for that romantic dinner for two, or a family gathering. The food is out of this world! The seafood ensalada is the freshest around.

LOve this place, have been there 10+ times in the past few months; and look forward to returning every time. Food, Service etc... is excellent. Ambiance, Piano etc... excellent. Food priced well for value, albeit a tad pricey.

I loved this place...the food was wonderful, everyone was extremely nice, and there was live music, so it was very cheerful:) However, there's also an additional room you can eat in if you want to dine someplace quiet:) Awesome place:)

On an island filled with great restaurants, each one tries to find it's nitch. Dolce Vita has done this by being pretty much the only one you'd feel out of place wearing a pair of shorts to. It has a fine dining atmosphere to go with its food and prices. It also is the only piano bar on the island. If you go prepare yourself to make an evening of it. They make the dining experience very drawn out. If you are enjoying the music, then you will welcome the time taken. Otherwise, maybe not so much.

WHAT A FIND! Who woud think you could find such a wonderful FINE place to dine on Sanibel Island! Most excellent personal service from handsome waiters. Wonderful food! REAL Italian deserts to die for. And the music-wow- Maurice is totally awesome! I want to go back soon as possible. It is very hard to find a place like this anywhere in the USA! Did I tell you about the handsome waiters???

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at La Dolce Vita; our waiter was very charming and made the evening entertaining for us - he also chose a fantastic wine to accompany our meals. I had the Moroccan 5 Spice Lamb Shank and Raisin Couscous - it was incredible. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and more of a low-key venue.
