Wonderful surprise!!! Spotted this after my girlfriend and I flew in to FL late one night and needed some dinner. Us and another table were the only ones there after a busy night according to the waitress, who was also the owner/wife. She explained all of the dishes and gave suggestions and let us sample one blue corn extract drink which was amazing!!! We ended up getting a couple pitchers of Sangria and fried plantains, and we split this huge dish that consisted of a large piece of fish (i forgot what) and clams, large shrimp, calamari, and a few other things. GREAT food!!! And very affordable, friendly, and family based place. (It felt like we walked in to a friends house for dinner with the owner's young daughters there playing)

The Cape Sea Food Shack has my vote. Excellent food and out standing prices for the times. My wife and I moved from Kansas a few weeks ago and have never experienced seafood cusine except for Long John Silver Sea Food Restaurant in the midwest. This seafood resturaunt is one of the best lil places to eat. They have great crab cakes and wait time is hardly no time. Kids under a certain age eat free and the service is the best

THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!! Absolutly wonderful food. The staff is super nice! They make you feel like you've known them for years. Not only is the food AMAZING and fresh but it's also cheap. We've been there 3 weekend in a row! We took our friends from out of town and they loved it too. We HIGHLY recommend this place. Can't get enough of it!

I have lived in this area for several years and have eaten at many resturants, and this one is definitely one of my favorites! I had heard a lot of positive things about this resturant, but never stopped in until one day I was in the area and hungry for seafood. Now I am upset that I didn't try it sooner! The food was excellent, and defintely worth the money! I had gotten a similar meal at the Seafood Shack (another place), and liked it there, but this was better food and a better value. I have never eaten in the resturant, but I have went in to order carry-out a few times and had a chance to observe the atmosphere. Everyone inside seemed to be really enjoying themselves and satisfied. The one time a mistake was made on my food (I said I wanted it blackened, not fried, and they thought I said I wanted it fried), they were more than willing to correct it and apologized profusely. That is a rarity for a black female in any resturant (usually I get the bad mood, followed by the smart-aleck comments implying I am the one that made the mistake, followed by the attitude that I am trying to get something for free). As an attorney I am very picky about where I eat and the friendliness (or attitude) of the resturant employees I come into contact with, and this place is definitely a top choice! The icing on the cake is that all their desserts are made on location and change daily - can't beat that!
