Englunds Deli II, Cape Coral

Order every week subs packed full and great but please clean up the place

Very very dirty! Man behind counter had sleeveless shirt on w sweat running down arms Other man used slicer for every meat without cleaning anything off or using gloves Food was thrown around. Very unhealthy nasty disgusting environment The board of health signs on the wall were from a template off their own computer signed with everyone working there Mold on the walls and floors This is no place that food should be served in let alone by those two men who look like a shower is a monthly chore not everyday. Toenails showing while serving food should be banned in FLa. Im sorry this place needs to be shut down before someone gets sick other then being sick from watching how bad the flies were in the case where the meat was Please send molly maids and board of health supervisor in there ASAP

The best deli I have ever been to. Great people and the subs are even better

I have to say, I've been going to Englund's Deli for quite sometime and everytime I have been very satisfied EXCEPT this time. I went to Englund's today and I was VERY dissappointed. I walked in and the gentelmen was sitting in the back eating. He came to the front to take my order and after I gave him my order, he began to make it. Without washing his hands and with NO GLOVES!!During the time he was making my sandwiches he got a phone call, he took an order and came back up front to continue my sandwiches and yet again, no hands were washed. Not only that, after he walked back up front from getting off the phone he began to curse as if he were irratated. The whole time he was very rude. He acted as if he didn't want to be there. When he came to ring up my order, I watched him and his hands were FILTHY. He rang me up and proceeded to the next customer, and as I watched him take the next orer I realized he still was very rude and ONCE AGAIN, after making my sandwiches, touching the phone, the register, AND money, he still did not wash his hands. After taking my food home and thinking about all the bacteria that was on my food because of this rude and unconsiderate person i threw it away. WASTED $30. As long as this man is in the store I WILL NOT GO BACK.

The place was dirty and the tables were sticky with crumbs on them. The table cloths were old and stained and haven's been cleaned. The subs were expensive and the quality of the meat was poor or low quality. Will not eat there again

With a new owner, this shop still has the best subs in SW Florida! I can not wait to get back there for more!!

I have been going to Englunds sense i was a little kid. The best thing my father ever did was bring me to Englunds when I was 10. Eleven years later I'm still eating there and introducing everyone to this place. Not one person has complained.

With out a doubt the best Gyro in Lee County can be found right here in Cape Coral. The subs are big too. The person who told me about Englund's has been going there for over two decades and claims there is no better. And you know what, it's true. With a very friendly atmosphere to boot!

THIS IS THE BEST DELI I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I HAVE BEEN GETTING MY SUBS FROM ENGLUNDS FOR OVER 25 YEARS IN NORTH FORT MYERS AND STILL KEEP GOING BACK. LOVE THOSE HAM SUBS!!!!

This is the greatest Sandwich Shop in all of FL. Don't pass it up. The sandwich's are huge, and made with high quality meats and cheeses.
