New England Moorings Incorporated, Cape Coral

My two teenage boys and I happend upon the Moorings by accident and had a great experience. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The owner went out of his way to be sure we were happy with our entrees--even provided a dessert on the house. This meal was our favorite during our stay in Cape Coral.

I was there in October, the owner was nice and gave us samples but I would never go back, didn t care for the place at all, the food was terrible. The place itself is nice might go back for drinks but would never order food there!!!!!!

great place has the best fish. I had the mango grouper and it was the best fish i had in years I'm 38 so i know what im talking about, also al was awesome to he really cares about his customers by going table to table and chatting with them it has a friendly home atmosphere

I loved it there. It was a little on the warm side inside, but the patio was really nice. The owner came out with these samplers for us for free which were really good and helped my companions choose what they wanted. I don't like seafood but he had some really great stuff on the menu for people who don't like seafood. I had the mango salsa chicken breast and it was fantastic. He had some good music playing that we could hear/see on all the big screen tv's. We definitely had fun and will be going back again.

I live in the Orlando area, but every time I'm in Cape Coral I eat at The New England Moorings. It's a little hard to find the first time, a block off Del Prado behind Anthony's, but it's worth a little effort to get there. The food is excellent every single time. And the owner, Al, always finds time to sit and chat a few minutes with his customers. In addition to traditional fare, Al and his chefs prepare amazingly innovative dishes that are a taste treat. I recommend the New England Moorings Inc (known locally as "The Moorings") without reservation! My only fear is that sometime I'll go to The Moorings and find that it's been discovered by all and sundry!

Having recently relocated from up North we were lured into this place driving down Del Prado by a Santa with 'Free Beer & Shrimp' 4-7 sign. C'mon, who can pass up free beer and shrimp! We were served our free beer and mouth watering coconut shrimp, plus samples of other menu items that were equally fabulous tasting by a darling lil friendly waitress named Trish. We stayed for grouper dinner with vidalia onion sauce and salad bar for $10...and it was superb. This place has outstanding seafood in a eclectic Key West like atmosphere. Best part, well mannered dogs are as welcome as you in outdoor seating area. Enjoy!

Great food, great service, great relaxed atmosphere. The owner is very attentive to his customers. The outside seating is free from the annoying traffic din you get from places right on Del Prado. What a wonderful place to relax over a tasty meal. Al, the owner is sooo nice. Check it out.

this is definately the place to go if you want old Florida atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly staff and the owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I have never had anything I didn't like. If you call ahead he is giving free T-day dinners to the needy.

What an amazing restaurant, the atmosphere is laid back, a great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle, and have a few laughs, good food, and Al always comes out and makes you laugh. The seafood is really good! Thanks for making it one of my brother and his family's favorite places every year! Whenever they come from out of town, they look forward to going to the Moorings! Kudos :)

Not a clean place at all; kitchen and salad bar are absolutly disgusting. I live in the Cape and will not ever go back there again!
