Meson Ole!, Naples

The worst meal I've ever had. Seriously bad. I'm pretty sure the positive reviews on this site must be from the owners or managers. Salsa was like water, guacamole was like puree and ridiculously acidic (I think they added a bunch of lime juice to stop it from going brown since it surely is not fresh). The skirt steak was so greasy my tongue felt like it had a nasty sheen for 30 minutes afterwards. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have horrible cramps in about 3 hours. Save yourself some money and eat a can of dog food instead.

This was a Mexican restaurant I came across while spending my first visit in Naples FL. The restaurant was located in 5th street in downtown Naples. The restaurant appears inviting (especially if you like Mexican food) so I thought I'd try it out. The decor was very nice, sort of old Mexican/Spanish antique style. Me & my fiance sat down and was handed a menu. I then noticed the prices (OMG!); the prices range from $16-20 per plate. Now, I don't know about you but I'm use to Mexican restaurants being a bit cheaper (OK, a lot cheaper). So we ended up ordering something simple. The food was just OK and portions a bit small. Meson Ole' are banditos! I think we're going to stick to the Mom & Pop style of Mexican restaurants.

The absolute worst mexican food I have ever had. The absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to!! Arroz con Pollo was Rice with Ketchup!! Steak in fajitas tasted like it might have been road kill. No JOKE!! Don't EVER eat there! EVER!

This restaurant is okay, I had the seafood paella and it was a rice dish, but not paella, nice the nice crust, on the bottom of the pan, paella is a wonderful dish and the was okay at best. My husband gave his shrimp dish a D+ at best. Should have know better for the crowd or lack there of on a Friday Night. Look elsewhere.

This is an excellent restaurant and the food is phenominal! All the food is prepared after you order, so it does take a little longer to eat. They have a bar and great atmosphere! They even have a little marachi band - how authentic!
