M Waterfront Grille, Naples

The location and atmosphere are beautiful and welcoming. The food was excellent and the service is top notch. It is pricey but you are well rewarded with the quality and service for the price. We will be back...without question.

Dined at Maxwell's on a midweek evening in January and was not at all impressed. I had dined there many times before during previous trips to Naples, but it has gone downhill it seems. The service was slow and very unresponsive to requests. Food wasn't bad but wasn't good either. Considering the price I would have expected something more consistent with what I had experienced previously. When the check came and we presented our neighborhood discount card, they nickled and dimed us on the discount terms (which I am convinced they were incorrect about, but we let it go as the restaurant as the final say and the amount was trivial) so much we wish we hadn't presented it due to the embarrassment it caused. Hopefully we just caught them on an off night, but no plans to go back any time soon.

My husband was celebrating his 40th birthday & his family were over from the UK. We had heard such great reviews & we were looking forward to something special. I phoned ahead & asked for a specific table & I was assured by the OWNER that we would have that table. You guessed it...the table had been given away. May I add that we were right on time, & all the other tables in that area were empty. I explained to the waitress that we had been assured by the owner & she suggested that the owner had written down the wrong table number! Sadly the meal was mediocre. We decided to leave as soon as was possible. Sorry...Not going back there.

We've been here three times. Never again, always bad service, filled with old people and way over priced. Bad service and the food is not the greatest. Cooks can't cook the meat at the right temp. Very unhappy every time we have went.

Everything about this place is wonderful! You have to try it! The view is the best in town. The Menu is what we dreamed about. Desserts are also the best!

I have been to Maxwells many times, and have always been impressed by the quality of their staff and food. Everything I have ever ordered there has been wonderfull. (Try the lobster roll for lunch!) There are large beautifull windows looking out on the water, and cute little shops next to the resteraunt to shop at after your meal. This is my favorite resteraunt in SW Florida.

My husband and I went to 'Maxwells on the Bay' for Thanksgiving. What a treat! This restaurant (we have travelled to many part of the world) was one of our very best experiences ever. We opted for the tradditional Thanksgiving dinner The food was just wonderful, and our waiter Detta from Frankfurt (I'm not sure if that is how he spells his name) was so friendly, warm and efficient - Keep up the good work!
