Snug Harbor Restaurant, Fort Myers Beach

we called for reservations for 8 oclock on a thurs night, when we got there the place was packed we were on time.we checked in and they said it would be a litlle while. people kept walking in off the street no reservations and were seated before us and they were parties of 4 to 8 people. when I brought this to the attention of the guy taking care of it who I think was the owner he said everyone has reservations I said no we called for them at 8 its now 830.and you are seating people coming off the street he then said ok yours is the next table.it was another half hour before we got seated. It seems he tried to push everyone into the bar when they come in to get the bar business up I bought a bloody mary and a rum and coke it came to 14.95 no misprint outragous price for those drinks I can see why he tried to get us in the bar.when we finally got seated at 830 or so we ordered at 900 0clock soup and nachos before dinner and our dinner a couple minutes later. It was 945 and still no soup or nachos.finally about 5 minutes to 10 the soup and nachos came. and we told the waitress who was working alone and expected to take care of hafl the place not to bring the dinner the same time as the soup and nachos.or she could bring it back, about half hour later we got our dinner. So by the time we got out of there it was around 1130.I would not reccommend this place if you want a pleasant eating experience overpriced drinks and poor service.

Great food, huge menu! A bit pricey though. Excellent location right next to the Fort Myers Princess boat.

We ate at this location when it was Snug Harbor. Now it is a beer joint.

Any time we stay at Ft.Myers Beach this a must go to place for us .We have always had good food,good service and you dont break the bank.

This was one of the most terrible restaurant experiences I've had since moving into this area. The service was extremely slow....waitstaff were rude with the exception of our original waiter...manager did not attempt to make amends for our bad food and bad service. My food was delivered 20 min before everyone elses, and I waited for mine for at least half a hour...meat was burnt, dry and too salty. Won't go there again.

The service was great, but the food was just average. Probably won't be back.
