We spent 2 days at the Neptune, accross the street,,,, on day 1 we found the Shamrock,,, The Bread man was tending bar,,, he was the social butterfly on the move keeping everyone in there happy,,, What a nice guy we bought Shirts because of his warm welcome... We went back later that night, to find Cheese Cake tending bar, who was also a busy little bee,,, we wrote on, and he hung dollars on the wall. As we hit home (Michigan) I found myself telling everyone how much fun Fort Myers was, and about the Shamrock,,, My Cuz and I will brag up the Shamrock forever I think.... Thanks for the warm welcome and kindness.
Stopped in there once for a drink had no intention on eating. Good thing. There were three people in there plus the bartender and all three were smoking. I thought it was against the law to smoke inside in Florida. The ceiling was low a plastered with orange colored nicotene stained dollar bills. I thought it might be a fun place but it was nothing more than a small dark refuge for drinkers who dont want to go outside to smoke.
