Fish House Restaurant, Fort Myers Beach

Excellent food and service will go back next time! The bacon wrapped scallops were the bomb.I recommend this fine restaurant to any fish lover.The coconut shrimp was fantastic too.

This used to be one of our favorite places, going back to when it was The Lazy Flamingo. It has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Higher prices, lower quality, less food..... We will be in Ft. Myers next week and I will give it one more shot...........Report to follow......Food was worse and hogher priced. The only thing in there that's goo are the 2fer Rum runners and they jacked the prices on them..Wont go there on our 2100 trip..........

seafood in upper quality as seafood goes. was very happy ordering any of the fish baskets. the baskets of food are cheaper than a true dinner order. I got enough food and I'm a rather large person. service was pretty good as long as you get there say around 5:30PM or earlier. after that, it's difficult getting a place. they have an outside porch next to some water that I like watching the fishermen come and go. definitely worth going to for quality of food and atmosphere. I don't know if they can still do this, but if we sat outside, they allowed us to bring our small dog to the table with us. obviously if the dog caused problems, we'd have to take it to the car. but be warned that if you don't have a dog, other people could bring there's, and the dog could be a little noisy. during the busy time (after 5:30 PM) parking is also a bad problem. part of this is because they also have a fish market in the same building that shares the parking lot. however, if I remember correctly, they might have valet parking during these times, but don't hold me to that. but again, definitely go if you can.
