Sunflower Cafe, Fort Myers Beach

Were snow birds and this is a great place to grab a bite. If you like desert give them a try. The white coconut cake is my favorite right after the Grouper sandwich!

My fiance and I went here twice during our vacation down in Fort Myers. We both have nothing but praise for this place. For lunch one day she got a gyro platter which had plenty of meat with it and I had a salmon dish, which for the price, I have never seen that big a piece of salmon! Our lunches were about $12 each but that also included two sides and dessert. Also, there was so much food to the meals that we ended up with leftovers and had something to eat for dinner that night. We ate here another day for a late lunch and my fiance got the rib eye steak which she said was amazingly tasteful and I got breaded shrimp. The quality of the breaded shrimp was not all that great b/c it didn't taste like there was any seasoning on it at all. Overall, the environment was nice and the service was good. The waitresses were very sociable. For the price, the amount of food you had on your plate was great, and as I said earlier, you will most likely be taking home leftovers.
