LOVE it... I've been visiting McGregor Cafe for many years and still go at least once a week. The staff is warm and welcoming, even remembering my favorite dish. I prefer their lunch and weekend brunches over dinner, but they do have some new evening menu items. If you haven't been, I encourage you to visit and enjoy some tea in a mason jar and relax!
We have been long time patrons of the McGregor Cafe. Our last two trips have been such a disappointment. The first of the last two the service was beyond lousy, twenty-five minutes for our food and no one communicating with us. The second of the last two, we went for Sun. Brunch, we wanted to sit outside and decided to wait for a table. Twenty minutes later( I would like to point out we are sitting less than five feet from the hostess stand) we see them sit someone who just arrive outside. We are livid. We have waited patiently and can't believe they are sitting someone before us. We confront them and they don't apoligize or even ask the people they were seating to wait. This is totally inappropriate.
and if we had more time there would have been a third visit. Delicious food with an Italian flair. Lovely alfresco setting and intimate indoor dining. The scallop pasta was unbelievably good. The service was inpeccable. This is a must. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered.
