Over the years my Family would stop at the Shell Factory to p/u gifts for Relatives and Friends. This past September 2th my Wife and I stopped in to do some shopping. We arrived there at 5:40 P.M. The open sign was lite the doors were open so we start walking in. We were told we could not come into the store because they were closing in 20 minutes. There was a group of sales women standing by the counter clucking like a group of old hens and did not want to be bothered. (Real good customer service). If they worked for me they would be looking for another job. To make a long story short we did get some tee-shirts and other gifts and at very good prices at the Walgreens down the road. Would I go back to the Shell Factory in the future? Sure I would, 12 days after hell freezes over.
This place has it all, a nature preserve and botanical garden, a place to shop and learn about the enviroment and ways of keeping the worlds ecosystem and helping to preserve a better world and creating a better more safe enviroment for future generations o come.
Mty favorite part was the gardens and the variety and array of flora and fauna there, also the petting zoo where you get to hold and feed the baby animals is one of my daughters favorite parts.. this place has everything I even got my pet Iguana here, it was really cool how they raise these animals and rescue animals to preserve them for generations to enjoy.
