Terrible, terrible, terrible service!!!! Been a guest at Holiday Inn since Monday. Restaurant has never been busy since we got here and the service has been terrible. I can only imagine how bad it would be if it was actually busy! Dirty tables sit around forever before they get cleaned up. Check your chair before you sit down because washing food off chair seats must not be part of their protocol. Surely any decent manager with a pulse on the situation could rectify these problems easily. It s a shame that a place with such a great atmosphere can be this bad.
Worst restaurant experience ever. Asked for cinnamon for sangria, got taco seasoning. Made hubbie and I sick. WHEN WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE FOOD, ASST MANAGER SLAPPED ME WITH THE RECEIPT BOOK ON MY BACK. I SAID THAT WAS BATTERY, AND HE SAID IF I CALLED THE POLICE HE WOULD SAY WE WALKED OUT WITHOUT PAYING...HE SAID IT SLIPPED OUT OF HIS HANDS . He also said for us not to return. WOW
My wife and I decided to spring for a decent dinner and wanted to give this place a shot. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the view and the atmosphere. The hostesses were nice and greeted us immediately. From there the whole experience went downhill. We ordered appetizers and they were both bland and flavorless. We ordered our entrees and I was told that I couldn t get the Cuban sandwich without mustard because they make them in the morning and they are not fresh. So I ordered buffalo chicken strips and a basket of fries. The food quality for those was that of McDonalds. My wife ordered Grouper Marquesa, which is supposed to be a baked fish. When it was brought to us it had a puddle of grease around it. We brought our concerns to the manager s attention and told her that we were not out for a refund. She simply responded with, This is how our food has been coming out for 26 years and we don t get no complaints . (apparently she cant read on google) When ready for our bill, we had to wait for 10 - 15 min. for our waitress to finish watching television to bring us our check. We will not return and I feel raped to have paid $63.21 for this horrid meal. Next time I will go to Wendy s and pick a fight with Chuck Norris, I am sure the experience will be the same.
We recently attended a networking Meet and Greet for Bay City Network at Jimmy Guana's and they did an excellent job of meeting our needs as a group. We had a private inside room with extra tables for displays, and our server, Victoria, was excellent! Everything went smoothly and efficiently, in spite of a huge thunderstorm and power outages. This place, though casual and friendly, is a real class act!
I have to say - we love this place! It is cool and breezy on the warmest evening, with the big canopy by the stage. We go mostly for the music, which is always great and keeps people entertained from 6 to 10 every eventing. The food isn't gourmet, but it is good, from hamburgers to Friday nite's all you can eat fish dinners. We also like the quesadillas and the Bonsai Shrimp, it has a spicy peanut sauce. The service is good inside the restaurant, or outside on the deck, and all the staff are friendly and efficient. There is a bar on the deck, but also lots of families having dinner, groups having birthday parties, and people going back and forth to the pool area. The entertainment is geared for families, and you'll often see small children shaking rattles or little tambourines along with the band. Sometimes later in the evening, the adults will dance a little. It's always a good time, and we go back there as often as possible. We'll be staying there later this summer, can't wait!!
