Since the last review is back in '05, I thought I'd do us all a favor and try the food once.
Not all Sonny's are the same, and this one is the worst.
The baby back ribs (full slab meal for $15) were awful! They tasted like they were baked (w/o sauce) a couple of weeks ago. The cook(s) didn't bother to paste on the sauce when he/she nuked it. Yes, nuked as is; not tossed on the grill, and no sauce got pasted on them.
The corn bread crumbled in the to-go box.
Fries were nuked right after they got pulled out of the fridge/freezer.
The sliced pork ($10) was dry, and like the ribs, a few days old.
The best part of the entire meal was the corn on the cob, and it was ok.
Don't waste your money here.
I've been to the ones in Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton (US 41 & SR 64). The Venice one is still be the best.
