I have been eating at the Acropol for over 12 years. The service is very good, the food is very good and, the staff honestly trys to go out of their way to please you.
If you need a refill of your drink, it's pretty quick.
The menu has a wide variety of Greek and American foods and I really wish they would put their menu on the internet.
The prices are very reasonable and the food amount is large and mostly consistent.
I was surprised how much the owners get involved with us customers and it really is a pleasure that they care about their customers
Went there once, food was great. I was very stressed out and wanted to have a relaxing lunch; however some short blonde thing trying to sing ruined my appetite. You should mention Karaoke on your menu .
Consistant with the quality of food. Restaurant could use a good cleaning and the bathroom are awful. The owners are super nice people who aim to please. On the other hand, some of the staff that have been there for a long time can be a bit nasty.
Average Meal. Big Portions. Fair Price.
I had the spinach pie and the grape leaves both as appetizers. Then had a half-order of mousaka. Also had the artichoke and chicken soup. I shared the appetizers with my wife.
The meal kinda tasted not-so-fresh. It sure tasted Greek, but like I said, not the freshest. I sure didn't like the ketchup/bar-be-cue sauce that went on top of the mousaka. I got full and couldn't eat all my dinner.
The place could use a bit of maintenance and a fresh coat of paint. A little too drab for me. The menu was large and almost on the confusing side.
So, we fed the family of 4 for $40 plus tax and tip. Just under $51.
I don't think I'll go back again. I would have given this a 3.5 stars, but can't give a half star. Not good enough for a 4 for me though.
Recently had breakfast at the Acropol Family Restaurant. Current hours seem to be 6:00AM to 9:00PM Daily so an early breakfast before work or activity is no problem. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered the french toast, pork sausage patties and home fries. My guest ordered two eggs basted over and a pancake. I had coffee and my guest had tea. The food arrived quicker than a blink of the eye. I was offered sugarfree syrup as well as regular. As both of us are diabetics we appreciated the sugarfree syrup choice. Nice touch for a family restaurant. My guest's pancake was huge, homemade and fluffy. The pancake filled the large oversized plate. He remarked it was outstanding and he couldn't finish it all after eating his perfectly basted eggs. My french toast was light and perfectly cooked. The sausage tasty and lean. My side of homefries with onions were properly browned sliced potatoes and they filled an oversized plate. There was more than enough for two or three people. The coffee was good and not overly strong. Total cost for our bill $11 and some change. Prices were very inexpensive and plenty of breakfast platters were under 5 dollars. A la carte items were also inexpensive. 3 egg omelets were also bargain priced. The extensive breakfast menu had something for everyone.
The Acropol also serves Lunch and Dinner. The Interior is bright and light tastefully decorated with roomy lime green vinyl booths and free-standing tables and chairs. I believe there are three or more rooms of seating areas as well as a bar. Hanging plants decorate the area. The restaurant appeared to be very tidy and clean. I and my guest both commented we would be eating here again. Highly recommend this charming and friendly restaurant. Wait staff seems to get to know their regulars and greet them accordingly. Check out this sure bet for a filling good meal in comfortable surroundings at a great price!
Start off with the best house mini-Greek salad around. Do try....Roast Turkey,....mmmm or the Roast Pork dinner, Chicken shish-kabobs. Also the char-broiled grouper is great too. If Sandwiches are what you're looking for try the Ruben Grill or a fish sandwich. Lots to choose from, all very good! If you're really lucky maybe Esther will serve you, she's the best! -GFXG
