Mugs Grill & Bar on Missouri
Good food, lots of fun, and plenty of spirit is served daily at Mugs on Missouri. Their menu features ice-cold brews and sizzling hot wings, stacked Phillysteak sandwiches, crispy fried mushrooms, thick Motorcity Monster Burgers and tasy Mugsaritas to satisfy your appetite. Great casual atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent service where guests can eat, drink, and even participate in nightly karaoke performances. If singing is not for you, sports action on the big-screen TV or a game of pool in the arcade provides plenty of extra entertainment. Good place for families, and a kids' menu is available. - Vickie Ferguson
I have gone there several times over the last few years. I have noticed that the owner takes constructive criticisim very personal. The ranch dressing taste good but is so runny you could drink it with a straw. My guess is that they are trying to save money on food costs. They charge you extra to bring your fries on a seperate plate to prevent sauce from getting on them which come with the wings in the first place. Otherwise, they offer to put them in sauce soaked wax paper next to the saucey wings. Uhmmmm!!!, nothing better tasting than soggy wax paper in your food.
Drinks are measured with care. You would be lucky to get a half of glass of wine (half full or half empty, you decide). I guess a glass to them means that they put a little bit of wine in a glass. Expect a lot of ice in small glasses for the mixed drinks. I would suggest sticking with beer, that way you know what you are getting. Happy hour specials can get confusing. They tend to change them often, and when they do, they don't seem to make much sense.
Service can be another problem, some are good and some are really bad. I suggest that if you go often, try to stick with one girl that you have found to have liked. It takes a little work on your part though, by memorizing her schedule. It is best to have a back up just in case you got it wrong or when she has called in sick. Last but not least the uniform. I'm not really sure what the dress code is. Some wear revealing, some wear jerseys, some might as well be in a snowmobile suite. I'm not sure if they are going for the Hooter concept or if they are going for the weirdest dressed. My personal preference is the former of course.
I would give it a 1 rating but the fun patrons and the atmosphere, push it to a 2 rating. It can be fun to talk to other patrons about any subject, even including all that is above.

I have dine-in and had many take outs. Either way, I love Mugs n Jugs. The sauces will make you want to sell your car for a bucket. Mugs is famous for their boneless wings. I like the buffalo chicken salad. It is outstanding. Did I mention you get a lot for a cheap price, so that is why they are alway crowded. They are awesome!
Their wings are pretty good and decently priced; however, after deciding to dine in...I will never go in again. The service was the poorest I have ever seen in a restaurant. A sincere lack of hospitality and disregard towards its patrons has made me decide to never go in again.
