CHEF PAT RETURNS TO CLEARWATER
CLEARWATER: After a ten (10) day deployment by President George W. Bush, local culinary expert Chef Pat returns back to Clearwater. Chef Pat was recently assigned to the USS Theodore Roosevelt as their acting Chief Chef. While aboard, Chef Pat served nearly 250,000 meals to reward our men and women in active duty.
Chef Pat had a diversified shopping menu to prepare these holiday meals: Bacon 13,912 pounds, Fresh Eggs 46,172 dozen, Frozen Eggs 41,575 pounds, Milk 5,632 containers, Coffee 3,729 cans, Flour 6,948 bags, Sugar 3,024 bags, Butter 15,174 pounds, Catsup 39,740 bottles, Chicken 93,763 pounds, Steak 7,783 pounds, Shrimp, 12,606 pounds, Hot Dogs 25,714 pounds, Hamburgers (5 oz each) 41,746 pounds, Freedom Fries 81,340 pounds, American Cheese 26923 pounds
Cheddar Cheese 16,933 pounds, Shredded Cheese 14,833 pounds and Ice Cream -1417 containers. Not to mention that he vended $339,130.50 of soda, $139,122.85 in fresh snacks and to say the least, he racked up an additional $21,433.61 in concessionaire sales.
Chef Pat is a cum laude graduate from the Le Cordon Blue Culinary Cooking Academy in Paris France. He is also a level IX, Certified -Master Chef in macro biotic cooking. Moreover, he is also certified and accredited as; Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, Master Chef, Certified Pastry Culinarian and Certified as a Secondary Culinary Educator Chef.
Chef Pat lectures at numerous cooking academies and universities around the world. In 1981, Chef Pat was appointed by President Ronald Regan as his personal Chief Chef for the White House. Chef Pat has won numerous awards from the NFL for his pre-season cooking expertise. In July 2007, the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s appointed Chef Pat as their exclusive team chef. In Tokyo, Chef Pat is r e v e r e d as the “Ginsu-Chef of America”.
In October, Chef Pat was a guest on the popular Oprah Winfrey Show. He made similar appearances on Jay Leno & David Letterman to. 2008, the TV Channel- Food Network announced that they are dropping the ever-so-popular “Emeril – Live” . They announced yesterday that they replacing the show with “Chef Pat – Live from Clearwater”.
Chef Pat currently owns and operates three (3) culinary restaurants and one bistro in the Clearwater area. In 2008, he plans on opening a new culinary location at Disney in Orlando, a second bistro location in George Town, DC, a third location in down town Minneapolis and a fourth culinary & bistro location on Highway 29 in Napa Valley, CA.
Despite Chef Pat’s chaotic schedule, he still finds time for public service. He hosted a junior cookie cooking class at Children’s Hospital in St Petersburg last November. He personally donated $500,000.00 to the Pediatric Cardiology unit. He also does numerous cooking classes for our seniors at various assisted living facilities located in Pinellas County.
