Good Food at an OK Price.
I've been to this restaurant 3 times now. Pricewise it could be a bit cheaper but it is still a good meal at a decent price with pretty large servings. I ordered the house special fried rice for $8.75 it was tasty but I guess the 4 relatively large shrimp on top were what differentiated it from its $6.75 cousins. I will say that their Spicy Lemongrass Chicken is the best! Their server had actually recommended it to us and usually I will differ to the resident experts. I told her that I was not a big 'nuoc mam' fan (fish sauce) but that I liked spicy food. She was right on target by leading me to this. I also ordered their 'Rainbow Drink' which is a delicious, icy, dessert beverage perfect for the dog days of summer. I've tasted their pho and wasn't particularly impressed but that is probably because I compare all pho to Pho Boston in Hartford, Connecticut which was simply great taste, more than filling, and at an extremely reasonable price. The spring rolls here were good but pricey at $1.50 or so each. If you know your vietnamese foods this place is definitely a must try. If you are like me, and don't really know too many traditional vietnamese dishes and are somewhat wary of tossing $20 out the window on a couple exotic 'new-tries' ... ask the servers... they were very informative and helpful. I am lucky in the sense that my partner-in-crime to all my vietnamese restaurant forays is vietnamese herself and that's invaluable as well :)
