A few weeks ago I had horrible service at this Applebee's. I was complemented with a few $5.00 gift certificates. I decided on April 16th, 2011 to go give Applebee's another shot. Out of fairness it was only one waiters fault for the last experience. But when I went to Applebee's this morning, 1:00am, It was excellent service. I was seated and had my food within 7 minutes. Granted, I did just order an appatizer, but I gotta give them that they were speedy. However, I noticed a problem about half way though my celery stick. There was a fly on it. I then looked at my boneless chicken wings, and since they had little black spices on them it looked like more flys. I was appaled and asked for a manager. He asked if I would like something else. I replied that I had lost my appetite. The waitress said the manager would take care of the check, AS IF I WOULD PAY FOR FLYS ON MY FOOD!!! I was promptly shown the door. I guess people who have flys in their food get the boot, but if your manager doesnt come to the table before you get your check, you get $10.00.
