Rickey T's, Treasure Island

I don't normally submit reviews. I know it's bad if it's an eBay purchase or similar, but I usually just don't get around to it. Add to that the fact that, before we went to Ricky T's for the first time today, I checked the reviews. I have to admit, I really thought they had to be bogus. Day after day, people submitted reviews saying this place was awesome. We almost didn't go because of it. We've been going to the area for decades. We've debated in the past about going; always choosing someplace else with a HUGE ad in a flyer in the hotel lobby. Until yesterday afternoon, I didn't even know that they served breakfast. Nonetheless, we decided to skip the royal sausage croissant and give them a try as we headed out of town this morning. We ordered the greek omelet and sausage gravy omelet. You aren't going to believe how big these things were. They were easily an inch and a half thick and covered more than half the plate. The rest of the plate was covered in hash browns; there wasn't room for the toast! Plus, the food was awesome. I'm a very hearty eater and I couldn't finish it all, and I really tried too. Service was great. We walked in and since there wasn't anyone visible, we sat at a table inside across from the bar. Another gal took our drink order and a few minutes later, Mona came by to take the rest of our order. She was very attentive without being annoying. Today was her first day. We're going back next time we visit, for sure!

DON'T GO THERE!! WORST PLACE!! POOR MANAGEMENT! THEY CALL THE T.I. POLICE DEPT WHEN YOU LEAVE AND TELL THEM A LIE, LIKE, YOU WERE ADVISED NOT TO DRIVE. BIGGEST B.S. EVER TOLD! I HAVE A WITNESS TO THAT AND WILL DO WHATEVER POSSIBLE TO HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I HAD 3 BEERS THE WHOLE NIGHT ON AN EMPTY STOMACH, AND ONLY ONE THERE. THEY SERVED ME A BEER, THEN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES LATER, THEY CALLED THE T.I. PD ON ME AND LIED TO THEM. THEY GAVE ME A DUI. NICE GOING RICKY T'S. DO NOT GO THERE! PATHETIC. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A DRINKING ESTABLISHMENT LIKE THIS ONE??

Ricky T's is great - sadly it is so far from Clearwater Beach I rarely get down to TI - but when I do - it's a top pick. ALWAYS GOOD.

Bette & Bob Jan. 2010 My husband and I stayed last week in Treasure Island and visited Ricky T's several times. Great food I had crab legs all you can eat for $22.00 was very very good. Good Service and great Mai Tai's. The staff was very nice and made us feel like we belonged. The music was great and the bar tenders were very sociable. Ricky T's is a must to go to.

Went there for breakfast. Food was outstanding, service was even better! It's a nice little place that doesn't feel touristy, but more like your local home-town place. Prices are more than reasonable. Definitely a winner, and now will be a standard visit every time we vacation in the area.

One of our favorite hangouts on our vacations to Treasure Island. Incredible music. Dennis Wallace, St. Petersburg native, delivers an amazingly diverse collection of musical styles that will keep you in your seats enjoying the casual tiki bar atmosphere. Leaning towards bluegrass but very flexible, playing many standards from classic rock and jazz, the band and Dennis will make you glad you picked this place. The drinks are reasonable and they have a full menu. Dennis Wallace plays Thus. & Fri. 5-9 pm. But their other great enertainers, Kevin Toon Sat.Sun.&Tues.5-9 pm. Also Uncle Dow Mon. & Wed. 5 -9 pm. Both of these entertainers will captivate you with their styles. Kevin has an incredible voice that will make you think you're listening to the original artist. Uncle Dow with his one man band style, Bluesman with banjo, dobro, harmonica, and guitar, playing the bass notes with his feet, will take you for a fun ride through the blues and many other standards. If you have kids there is an ice cream place adjacent to this very family friendly club.

Ricky T's on TI is the locals spot! The pizza, sliders, awesome soups and homemade dishes as well as the music and of course well-made beverages keeps us coming back for more! Lets not forget the long-term employees that have become part of the family!!

If you live in the Pinellas county area, you must visit Ricky T's on Treasure Island. Dennis Wallace plays outside Thursday and Friday's after work and is the best after work fun you will find. The band on Friday and Saturday nights IS the best in the county. The food is the greatest bar food around. Try the soup and the Chicken Fajitas. So get a baby sitter and/or get a life and come to Ricky T's.
