Carrabba's Italian Grill, St Petersburg

The worst Carrabba's I've ever been to- in fact, I will never go back to any Carrabba's as I cannot even think of them without losing my appetite. The food was bad, but the management was much worse. Just like the other reviewer, we were sick within an hour of eating here. The manager insulted us and refused to do anything to make the situation better. I've never been moved to leave a review before, but I feel it necessary to warn others about this franchise- they are not created equal. I wish I could give it less than one star, they don't deserve it.

Good food, Friendly Service staff, Decent prices. I recomend going there..

As I hail from the UK and am only resident in the USA for about half the year, my visits to Carrabba's are rather limited but I dine there with friends about once a month and have consistantly found the food, service and ambiance extreemly good and at a reasonable price. The happy hour is particularly good value It is my first choice of restaurants and to my mind rather better than what is offered on Beech Dr. TWL

This is one of THE WORST Carrabas in Tampa Bay. The menu prices had just gone up and rather than wait until the new ones came back from the printer, they used white duct tape and pen to cover the old prices but you could still see what things were priced at. The prices were all weird, like rounded up to the nearest cent amount. Instead of $12.00, they changed things to something like $12.63 It was the strangest thing I had ever seen. Then the food came, I ordered the Canneloni (Which I have had at other Carrabas and love!) and they not only made the portions smaller but they served it in the wrong way and in the wrong dish. It tasted like the pantry guy left it sitting under a dripping case of raw fish. It was discusting! Before the meal was over, My son was in the bathroom throwing up. The waitress was rude and the service was awful! We will never go here again!

This is a typical chain restaurant. Food is not real Italian, it is not delicious, and it is surely not healthy. People who like places like this don't have a palate for real food-typical of Tampa Bay. If you want real Italian food, go to a family owned place or one of the great Italian places in Sarasota. It is worth the drive.

This is the best Italian! You must try the Treo Chicken (not on Menu) and the Pollo Rosa Maria is to die for!! I would reccomend to call and be placed on the seating list because being that the food is so good they are usually packed every day of the week.

Went with a large group, and was astounded at the excellent and attentive service to a party of about 18. Servers are highly competant, pleasant and helpful. The food is generally well-above-average Italian, a bit overly sauced which can hide the character of a main ingredient, and they are big on artichoke hearts in everything. But the chef's general competance makes most dishes taste very good, and there are few missteps. Lighting is low (very low in spots, bring a flashlight to see the menu), and the tables are well-spaced for private conversation or a romantic dinner. Drop your party at the door and then park and hike; the lot is usually quite full. Overall, a very pleasant night out.

i love this resaurant

This restaurant is located right next door to Sunken Gardens (my previous review). Each time I've gone it's been packed with the only available seating at the pasta/desert/prep bar, which just happens to be the most interesting seat in the house. Excellent food and service. Pricey, but worth it. And if you sit at the bar you will be witness to the hustle and bustle that goes on as they prepare your meal/desert.

Went with a large group of people to celebrate a birthday. AMAZING service, very detailed, organized, and right on top of everything we needed, before we asked.
