Skidders Restaurant, St Pete Beach

I was not impressed with this restaurant. It was not very good and the service was not as good either. Pizza was bland and the shrimp was overcooked as is all the seafood in st. pete. Somebody, please point me to a decent restaurant here.

Ok, we decided to go here cause of the good reviews from others. Without writing a long review, the service was so-so, the food other then the greek salad, was nothing special and we dished out $35 and was not satified at all. And we are not picky at all, but I would not go back again.

Not worth the wait . . . Diner food, you wait in line, only to get bumped by the owners friends . . .

So sad I was only able to eat here once during out short trip. But I will be back. Wonderful service. You can tell this is family owned and that there are plenty of regular customers. Very nice and welcoming. And food/menu so good. I wanted to try every thing. All the regular items and many new things. We only made it for breakfast but I can t wait to try lunch and dinner.

great food... they have specialties in itlian food... don't miss out!

I recently took a trip to St. Petersburg, FL. We stopped at the Salt Rock Grill first because it was so busy everytime we drove by that we figured it had to be good. After going in and seeing the menu we got out after having a glass of water! It was getting late and we arrived 15 minutes prior to Skidders closing. We asked if they knew of any other local restaurants that stay open later and they insisted that we stay and to take our time eating. They were all very nice and the food was good with reasonable prices! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and wished that we had found this restaurant sooner!

We love Skidders. When we go on vacation it's always the first place we eat at! Why we like it...Great food, Huge menu, friendly service & clean.
