wE stopped here & should have had a hint right off that it was tourist season & this place was empty- waiter charged us $6 for water- gave us warm bottles of water with the city ice without even asking us!! He said the water there was NO good- Hello?? It's the same water you were making the ice out of- PLUS we had been drinking city water all week- he told us we must be from Canada... WHAT??? We ordered the lamb appetizer for $14- got three tiny lamb ribs with a pile of rice..who puts rice on an appetizer plate??? What a jerk the owner is...his mother who is very old is a great cook but she should have raised him with more mannners--- my advice- avoid this place!!

This place was great. So what the loud guy on the phone seemed a little Greek. Tip? Not a prob. Hooked us up with free cookies and a Twins game on the TV. Sat at the bar and talked to us and told us about the old lady in back that cooked what I call the best pasta on earth. We had a great time. Now you know what to expect. Good food, maybe some culture, don't tip if it's been added. Pasta is worth it.

My sister and I went to this restaurant and it was the most horrible places and unsanitary places I have ever encountered. The waiter/owner grabbed my money out of my hands when I told him that I wasn't paying for the food due to him licking his fingers. I then told him I wanted the money back and he said no, the food was already cooked. He then stated that he wiped his rear as well. I called the police department, and they came and returned our money. I also called the board of health. I would never return to that place and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.If you ask me, that place needs to be shut down!

On Feb 12 2009, my wife and I, along with another couple, went to this restaurant. The service was unbelievably poor and the waiter was one of the most self important people I have ever seen. The food was marginal at best. Determined to show my dissatisfaction with the whole experience and especially the service, I added only a 10% tip to the bill. I have not tipped less than 18% in, literally, years. On the way home we started to question how four $13 meals and two $2 drinks came to $76 because 4*13 = 52 plus 2*2 = 4 and added together that equals $56. But the bill had been such hen scratching that it was illegible and we merely paid the $76 amount shown. Going back to the restaurant the next day, we were told that the menu indicates that the bill is subject to an 18% surcharge. In other words this unbearable waiter not only got an 18 plus percent tip, he also got the 10% I left. Beware of this place!!!

fresh, authentic, real taste, wish could have tried more items. Food could have had more flavor, but they have to suit to the older clientele. Seemed almost like a family running it. Want to go get more !!!
