Sloppy Joe's, Treasure Island

We've never had a bad experience there. Been many times at lunch and enjoyed the cuban (better than Ybor), fish tacos and the sloppy joe sandwich. Service was always great, even when busy. Eaten up and down the coast regularly from Clearwater to St. Pete and this is better than alot of the places. Indoor, outdoor seating with a great view of the beach. Can't say how the atmosphere is later in the day.

My empty serving plate looked eaten from and I don't mean like coming out of a bad dishwasher. There was actual grease smudges on the plate. How difficult is that to see when giving it to a customer (?). Silverware was badly spotted and/or dirty that I had to wipe it clean with my napkin. Not satisfied with the Cuban Sandwich... I've had better Cuban's from the take-out section of supermarkets. Don't go to Sloppy Joe's for Cuban sandwiches you say? If it's on the menu, it better be made well, or get it off! The Calimari were skimpily served and well done. Well done, meaning the breading was too dark brown and bitter. Special thanks go out to R-Bar around the corner though, whose exterior appearance is less than appealing, but cleanliness and quality of food is a fantastic value in Treasue Island (check out their all you can eat crab legs). Too Expensive. Caters to Tourist who dont know any better, Poor Service at the bar and a few servers there should be fired!

Food and drink are good but expensive. Not like Key West at all-more like a chain! Service is great but you pay for it!!!!
