Gigi's Italian Restaurant, Treasure Island

i ate at the t.i location awhile back, and i find the place and food to be soso, we had a pizza and carafe of wine , the wine was a 8 dollar bottle from your local store that we paid almost 20 for, and the pizza was ok, they are way over priced for the atmospher that lacks and the product they give out, i dont know how they stay in buisness, i too will never go back.

BORING AND OVER PRICED! ...are the words that come to mind. Horrible food, boring menu, and for the prices they charge???? We will never be back. Bla salad..all iceburg with not even a tomatoe and it didn't come with the meal, dinner bread was very bla just dipped in butter, $20 steak was ridiculous and it was just a boring slab of meat on a plate w/a baked potato w/butter. My husband even had to cut alot of the fat and tuff meat off. Eggplant parm was horrible. Bitter sauce, it was greasy, and the spagetti it came with wasn't even touched. I had the white pizza and that was ok, but it was just a plain white pizza. Each additional topping was $2. We tried the new location on 4th St where the old Bonefish Grill was. It was horrible! Again...way over priced and 4th St is not a tourist trap like the beach location so we all have no idea why it was so busy. Very, Very disappointed.

We have lived in the area for 3 years & this is by far the worst meal we've had. Over-priced and bland. I think the chicken in my meal was canned as it was spongey & cubed. Our waitress was great, the only saving grace!

With times and restaurants coming and going I think it is time that these owners start lithening to the customers. In 2005 this may have been a great place to go but quite frankly lately it has gone downhill. Time to change the menu up a bit and some of your staff is not quite top of the line. So sell if you are not serious!!!!

A family restaurant around since 1967. I had the special lobster ravioli. It was excellent and the service was great. An overall great dining experience.

Is this place a joke or what? Was there with family from out of town-big mistake!! Empty restaurant-sat in between kitchen and bev station. Glad it was conveinent for the waiter, we wouldn't want him to have to walk far or anything. Waiter stood at one end of our long table of 8- for the order. I had to almost yell to ask questions about the menu. They didn't even offer bread until dinner-at least it was burned. Two of our entrees were OVERDONE and dried out. My brother told the waiter this and told him there was no way he could eat it-as he handed it back to him. The waiter neither apologized or offered him anything to replace it. How grateful we were that they took 10% off our bill--$11. The entree itself was $14-each! They even charged for kid drinks with their dinner. Wordt $120 I spent- live in area- never going back and passsing the word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gigi's has the best pizza in st.petersburg with 3 locations, the largest of the restuarants is the pasadena location, so what are u waiting for try some!

Though the prices are a little higher than most, Gigi's has, without question, the best pizza in the area. That's one of the many reasons they've been in business nearly forty years. The ambiance inside is typical of any Italian/pizza joint - nothing special, but not unpleasant. And, since it's essentially across the street from the Gulf, if one is looking for ambiance one need only head to the beach for an after dinner stroll. In over thirty years of eating at or taking out from Gigi's, this reviewer has never been disappointed.
