went in to eat 1 evening and service was non existent i ate at the bar when my food arrived i tried to order a beer as i was eating the server helped the patrons to my left and right walked past me several times went smoked a cig had conversations with several customers served 4 of the 6 customers to my left a second drink walked past me several times again and went back to her conversation to lite another smoke. i ate 17 of the 25 wings that i ordered said excuse me to the server a half dozen times or more waved my bottle of beer. i went in to eat drink and watch football games. I had to wave both my arms in the air to get bill so i could pay and leave. I went to another bar called nickelcity had more to eat there and the burrito made me sorry i had the wings at sneackers. by the way i never was able to get a single beer from the time my food arrived until i finally was rude waving my arms to leave when my friend and his friend arrived where i was i spent over 100 at nickelcity. the bartender probally still wonders why i only tipped her a dollar on a 20dollar tab service wasnt even good enough to call bad there was no service
I noticed because of it's name, this establishment is grouped with retail stores. But, this is not a shoe store, it's a bar.
Hidden in the center corner of a strip mall,
we went there yesterday, and had a 'just ok' experience. Stopped in mid afternoon, quite a few people in there for that time. All locals. We came in the front door, there is also a back entrance/exit.
We walked to the back, as we didn't see any immediate tables in the front, just the bar. There were booths in the back and we sat down.
Our waitress/barmaid, took a little time getting over to us, as she was busy serving the bar area. We promptly ordered a pitcher of beer ($7) and she got it to us pretty quick.
As I previously mentioned, the patrons were locals. All knew each other, and seemed rather cliquey and not open to 'strangers'. LOL. Guys were playing games, and the people at the bar definitely into 'local' conversation.
After a while, we decided to place an order for food, and just got an order of fries. Didn't really see anything else we liked on the menu, which wasn't that extensive, although prices were reasonable. They had poppers, salsa and chips...the usual appetizers. Chili, and some sandwiches.
We got our fries, they were ok, we sat and finished them and our beer and left. Overall, it was a VERY noisy experience. Some of the women at the bar were practically screeching and it was really annoying and irritating. The drunker they got, the louder they got...lol lol. Seriously, if you're not one of 'their group' , you are made to kind of feel like you just landed from another planet. We'll not be going back anytime soon.
And it is a smoking bar, so beware if you're wanting to avoid that.
