Sushi Rock Grill, St Petersburg

Horrible service, mediocre food at quite high prices relative to neighboring higher quality restaurants. There is certainly a good reason why sushi rock is generally empty when ichiban, hooks an kinjo are all packed.

sushi rock is hands down the best sushi restaurant in town, good service and fresh fish, cant beat it, i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice night to dine out.

I have been to Hook's a few times across the street - very good. The night I tried Sushi Rock, Hook's had a long wait and I was in a time crunch. I now understand why there was a long like at Hooks and only 4 cars in the parking lot at Sushi Rock. The sushi - everything - was awful. I enjoy sunomuno salads, most of the time they're refreshing and tasty. This tasted like someone poured straight white vinegar over the cucumbers and seafood. One word, inedible. The rest of the meal was uneventful and I wouldn't return. Next time I'll wait for a table at Hooks.

Excellent Sushi! I highly recommend it! Dynamite roll is among my favorites.

But Sushi Rock seems to be back on track, the best experience this side of the bay. Not a discount establishment but neither is the experience.

St Petersburg has so many wonderful restaurants available in almost any ethnic style. Sushi Rock Grill is by far one of the best sushi restaurants I have had the pleasure to experience. The sashimi is so fresh and delicious.

Went there last valentines day and my girlfriend loved it. They had romantic candle lit dinner and it was all a fair price too. Great place to eat excellent food

read some past review and spoke to some people and found out they recently redid the place. very nice atmosphere, yummy rolls. my fav dynamite and i forget the name but is always on special list, not mainmenu. sushi and sashimi same price, nice bonus. fair saki prices
