Sam Seltzer's Steak House
\"The Biggest Steakhouse in Tampa,\" this steakhouse is renowned for their excellent steaks, prime rib, lamb, and seafood, as well as an array of extraordinary desserts. A retail butcher shop is also on site and they are open nightly for dinner plus serve a brunch on Sunday.
Took our daughter and granddaughter to Seltzer s (Pt. Richey) for dinner. Two of the steaks were returned because they were not cooked right. Steaks were dry and tough, baked potatoes old and over cooked. All but my husband were up all night with stomach cramps and diarrehea. Someone is going to get food poisioning and Seltzer s will have a good lawsuit going against them. Then maybe they will listen to what the customers have to say about their quality of food. I d say Hand Washing by the employees is not taken serious enough. I will NEVER return to Seltzer s again.
Not good and too expensive.
Prime rib was fatty and undercooked. Filet mignon was tough and undercooked. Baked potatoes were overcooked and most likely had been sitting under heat lamps all day.
Bizzare and korny cow statues in front of the restaurant guarding it like barriers at the White House from any wayward drivers who may stray from Dale Mabry Highway.
Waited 45 minutes for a table in the lobby with the crumb-covered floor while reading the oily and grease-laden menu. Drinking glasses are too small; I was done with my first iced tea before the salad arrived and it took an act of Congress to get a refill.
Sorry, Sammy, probably not gonna go back.
traveled from Kissimmee for your great restaurant-well worth the trip
we use to get the coupons in sundays paper and druel while deciding

Price was good - Service was ok - Food was not cooked to order.
Ordered prime rib med-well - very little or not pink - it came rare brown on the outside pink and red inside. It was edible, I just don't like to eat meat that is still bleeding.
Waited for waiter and decided my choices were to eat it rare / warm or rare / cold
This place has the best prime rib I think I've ever had. A wine selection better than I have seen anywhere. The service, atmosphere and food are the absolute best. Prices are reasonable great place.....I will go back!
After an hour and a half wait we were told to enter another room where noone was waiting to assist, After a few minutes someone sits us at a table and it took about another ten minutes for a waiter to arrive, After taking our order we got a fairly decent appetizer, and then the main course, Jen got a butterflied steak, Horrible, what steakhouse would butterfly a steak, I tried a steak as well, when I bit into it , it seemed to taste like what cow poop would be flavored as, Completely unsatisfied and would only recommend to my worst enemies, Please stop serving the plastic cows on display out front and learn to make real food
