Brocato's Sandwich Shop, Tampa

I went to this place for the first time today. The deviled crab was good, not great and not bad. THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. I WAS THERE EARLY, NO ONE IN LINE YET THEY STILL WERE RUDE AND NASTY TO ME. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.

I've known the Brocatos for sixty years,my family had a grocery store the same time as Joes Mother and Father. Later on we had the Double K Drive Inn. The Brocatos are one of the best Familys in Oak Park,not only for how long they have been in business but also for how much they have gave back to the Community. My Wife and I love to go there every chance we have,not only for the Great food but to see Joe,Mike,Ernest and the crew. I have been to a lot places in this world,but none have made me feel the warm feeling that I get walking through Brocatos Doors. So to the Brocato Family,,,Long Life,Much Happiness,and Always the Best that Life Has to Offer.....W.C.White.

I haven't lived in Tampa for years. However every time I go home my grandmother has waiting for me a cuban sandwich and a deviled crab. On this most recent visit I told her I wanted to take some deviled crabs home and she brought me to her "spot." It was brocatos. They were nice enough to make them for me fresh, freeze them and I picked up the next day to take home with me. Of course I bought one to eat immediately. They are the best!!!!! I've been to a lot of places in Tampa and the sandwiches are filled with meat, and the deviled crab has very little breading.

Lived in Tampa my entire life, grew up eating there with my dad. I take everyone from out of town family to business associates to this place when the want a "real Cuban sandwich". The staff is so nice and they are like family once you go there a few times. It is packed at lunch but worth the wait you can order ahead if you want to get out of there quicker.

Amazing little restaurant!! Whenever I am in the area I stop in just to get their crab cakes!! Staff is great, Food is INCREDIBLE, eaten there many times and have never been dissappointed! :)

New to Tampa and looking for some good "hole in the wall" grub...found it here. Had a cuban and ate for 2 days on it. Next time it's going to be pressed so that I can see the difference. Anyway, it was a great, totally overloaded sandwich with fresh pork. Yum!!!

The best Cuban in all of Tampa...and I have tried a lot! The stuffed potatoes are to die for and made from REAL mashed potatoes. I dream of the food from this place. My new favorite lunch spot!

One of the best Cubans' in town. The deviled crab is 2nd only to Carmine's. The staff is fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone. It's a Tampa treasure.

They have the best in house made stuffed potatoes and OMG the handmade devil crabs I have ever eaten. It is worth the stop...BUT, don't go there during LUNCH unless you've been there before, you will get run over! lol, It's MAD CRAZY BUSY during lunch, so your best bet if your a newbie is to call by 10:30 am (no later) pick up before NOON and run like Hell! and enjoy your Food!
