I have never written a review before, but this definitely warranted one. I am new to the area and this is the 2nd and last time I will ever go to this restaurant. 1st of all way over priced for what they serve. I ordered Whole Fried Snapper for 25.95 (small) and 80% of it was skin and overcooked at that. My husband ordered the duck and it was drowned in sauce and also overcooked. Both items did not taste fresh. Even the crab ran goons were stale! The service was mediocre but the worst thing of all was the food...Horrible, Old and Way Over Priced. They will never get my business again!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing and everything is very fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Their vegetable coconut soup is some of the best soup I've ever had.

Well, it's been a while so I just had to try again. After all, it was once my favorite Tampa Thai restaurant by far but the service drove me away. Sadly the service is still bad and management still seems not to care. It appeared to be the manager or owner who was working and the register when a customer came in to pick up a takeout order. They checked their order and found a small error and the person who appeared to be the manager or owner was extremely rude when the mistake was brought to his attention. I knew what was happening because I was seated close by and he was loud. They probably lost that customer. Our service was rotten as well. No refill on tea or water even offered and, after being served, the only other time we saw the waitress was to bring the bill. I think I will permanently strike Jasmine off my dining list.

I love Jasmine Thai! The food is DELICIOUS and best Thai place I have come across since moving to Tampa. The atmosphere is serene. Vegetarian options available too. They have a great eggplant special dish among many others!

I have been going to Jasmine Thai for a few years. Used to be a great experience. This most recent experience was terrible. Food was good, but service was so bad that we would not return. Server was awful. Rude, short, unhelpful and management/ownership was not concerned at all. The manager could have cared less about our concerns. As we left, a family complained as they had not been tended to and waited for so long that they had to go find their own highchair for a young child. I would have been looking for the door. Would not recommend this restaurant as there are so many other places that care enough to take care of their customers and keep them coming back. Food was good, but nowhere near that good...

I will never go there again. My past two visits in 2008 were remarkable in the memory that service was very rushed, not at all relaxing, the server was rude. Apparent that their main concern is turning tables over as fast as possible. The price of the meals are not worth the poor experience. There are too many really good Thai restaurants in the area to ever go back to this joint.

The food is good. Get the chicken sah-teh to start, and the bananna/coconut icecream to finish. Figure out what you want in between on your own. :)
