Zerillo's Italian Grill is by far the best home cooked Italian food I have had since moving from New York. All the sauces are made from scratch, as well as the soups. The Pizza is genuine NY style pizza with a great crust. The prices are reasonable and the portion size is well worth the money! You've got to try it!
Great place, Great food, will definitely be back.
Our waiter (Jim ?) was awesome, very passionate about the food.
We had the Chicken Pesto Pizza-delicious!
The Mozzarella Caresse and bread were excellent too.
The absolute best Italian food I've had! The service is great as well. The pasta carbonera with chicken is to die for! And the PIZZA, oh my lord, you cannot even describe how wonderful it is!! I will DEFINITELY recommend this place to my friends.
Best thin crust pizza I ever had. Better than pizza in Rome itself. Eaten pizza in Africa, Europe and the US and this is still the best pizza.
But I am leaving the last star off because they served me a salad straight out of the fridge...cold and not too fresh.
No desert menu was evident.
I would go back there for the pizza though. I would go there everyday if it was possible.
All these reviews are a joke. They must be from friends and family, because they were way off base. After reading the reviews and since I have a love for Italian food, I was so excited to go. The place was clean, service was terrible, waitress didnt know what she was doing. Calimari was dry and tasteless, fried mozzarella was homemade and not very good, salads were just ok, fettucini alfredo was so bland and tasted like it was made with just cream,I only ate a few bites, seafood pasta was brought with a watery cream sauce when it was suppose to come with marinara sauce and completely bland, when we asked why it wasn't made with marinara sauce like it said on the menu she said it can come with both so I guess they picked the sauce for us. Pizza was just OK and all because its thin doesnt make it a real New York pizza, far from it. It was better than most pizza chains but that was it. Portions were big but we did not want to eat very much of it because of the bland taste. A BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT!!! Save your money and go somewhere else!! I didnt say the pizza was bad just not as great as the friends are saying. Yes westchasemom you are absolutely right. Can't wait to see all the friends and family bash me again. That is why this small restaurant has just as many great reviews as Charley's Steakhouse!!jculley83 you sure know alot for just being a customer.
AMAZING pizza. I got the Chicken Alfredo Pizza, it was ginornous and probably packed on 10 pounds but it was the best pizza I've ever eaten.
Great cozy atmosphere. My waiter wasn't the greatest (older guy, nice at first...then neglects you), but it hardly mattered. Everyone else is great though!
I am so excited they reopened!
I don’t know why they closed a few months ago, but they were not the only business which went through rough times during the widening of Race Track Road. Arby’s and Village Inn both closed soon after they opened at the same intersection. Zerillos has much better Italian food than Olive Garden or Carrabas. I order the portabella chicken and chicken marsala almost every week.. The chicken is tender and the portions are big. Their pizza is good too.
