Maggiano's - Italian Catering & Restaurant, Tampa

My partner and I go here a couple of times a month. It's just the two of us so we sit at the bar (which we like to do anyway), order drinks and food. We have never had a bad experience here. What they do, they do well. We usually do the pastas. The portions are quite large - I usually take half home for lunch the next day. Their fettuccine alfredo is one of the best I've had, they use a nice cheese and plenty of it. Eggplant parm and ziti are quite good as well. I love the stuffed mushrooms with just a squirt of lemon and some extra cheese. Top it off with an ice cold beer, Maggiano's salad and you've got a great meal at reasonable prices.

Went there last weekend. Awful service, small portions, the worst dining experience I have had in 10 years. Do not go to this restaurant, especially if you do not have less than 4 people, because they limit the menu. Rip off!

Palacial, grande and wonderful. Service is impecable, food is plentiful and beautifully presented and some place where anyone could have a wonderful dining experience. An intimate dinner for two, or a huge party. The FAMILY STYLE option is wonderful for a huge outing. My only complaint is that the seats (not the booths) are not comfortable if you plan a long meal, insist on one of the booths. The Gnocchi in the vodka sauce is splendid! Worth the trip!

I have been to Maggiano's twice so far and hope to keep going back. The service is exceptional and the staff are always very friendly. Being greeted by smiles always make me feel right at home, not to mention the short bits of conversation with the waiters, which make it seem like we are all family. I love the music and the food, well the food is absolutely wonderful. I am so glad my Italian boyfriend introduced me to such a wonderful place. I believe most people would thoroughly enjoy their experience at Maggiano's and would probably keep going back for more. What a wonderful place to make happy memories!

Maggiano's is too huge the service tends to get too diluted. No question about the food here as it is absolutely great, but be prepared to wait it out because there's just too many people to serve over there.

Probably my favorite of italian chain's. I was absolutely surprised by the Filet there. That's right the filet. The zuchinni Fritte is wonderful. I have had a lot of their entre's and haven't been disappointed yet.

Located at Westshore plaza, Maggiano's has some great Italian food that you can get either entree style or family style which is basically all you can eat for about $23. I highly recommend you get a couple of people together and ask for the family style menu. You get your choice of salad, appetizer, 3 main courses and dessert; a great value! The decor is 1st class and a nice place to impress your date. The service is good and the bread is excellent. highly recommended!

A great place for Italian food especially if you are very hungry - the portions are really big. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan - one of the best I've ever had.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. It is horribly expensive and not worth the $25 a person. I didn't eat $10 worth of food much less $25 worth. The food was average definitely not homemade italian food. My food was room temperature. The bread was terrible, hard and cold. They put oil on the table to dip your bread in but no seasoning. The service was awful. They try to get you out quickly. The waiter was rude and put his hand up to quiet us whenever we asked for anything. They don't even have a wine list or any beverages listed. And our waiter was not too happy to tell us what they had. I am so upset that I spent $100 on this place. I will never go back!

Totally loved it. Cannot wait to go back, great for a large group(family style) the food was fab, and the wine, Oh, the wine!!!
