Southern Comfort B & B, Ruskin

We stayed there a week. It was beyond terrible. The food was great if you like bisquick and almost no coffee with breakfast. Some of the food served to us was actually burned. The lady tried to even sell us having family come eat there for a fee. As if! Don't even think about using the amenities because they have parties where they rent it out. They are clearly out to make money however they can and it is not your typical romantic bed and breakfast. The people who run it are rude and clearly don't like guests. I am basing this on fact that the man there made several rude remarks to us during our stay. The dog barked at people and the owners didn't call him off. The rooms are okay but not worth what they charge. You are much better off staying at the Holiday Inn Express right down the road. You will be able to have free use of the amenities and there are several great places to get breakfast in the area. You will even save money in the process and get a bigger room.
