Los Vallarta Mexican Rstrnt, Wesley Chapel

So happy to have found Los Vallarta after our recent arrival in Tampa. The 32 ounce margaritas are fantastic. We have had dishes from all sections of the menu and never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly too.

We have been to Los Vallarta many, many times over the years. I was so happy to find authentic Mexican food around here when they first opened! I am from Atlanta, and they had several good Mexican restaurants there, but until I found Vallartas , as we call it, I wasn t having much luck around this area. The salsa is my favorite, and the prices are reasonable. Their Texas Margaritas on the rocks is a must. So good! Over the years, we have had a couple of misses on busy nights, where the food wasn t quite as good as usual, but that s not enough for me to take away the 5-star rating. Everyone has a bad day every now and then. Overall, we love this restaurant. And to the reviewer from CA who basically compared Wesley Chapel residents to frequent patrons of Taco Bell, take your snobby self down to Cantina Laredo, where the food is nowhere near worthy of the high prices you ll pay.

I love Los Vallartas. They give you delicious chips and salsa complimentary. I love the soft chicken tacos here and the baked beans with cheese is very good also. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. The waiter was also very friendly and made sure we had plenty of refills of tea to drink and chips also. Can t wait until we go back again and will recommend others to come here also.

It started out good with the tostitos fresh salsa and tacos for appetizers. The place was packed so I figured the food would be good. Until we got to dinner do not order the steaks. Especially carne asado. It was thin with all fat and burnt. Sent it back and we got another fatty bloody steak. So then we ordered dessert. Fried ice cream messed that up to. It was chewy like rubber!!! I'm trying to figure out why people come here. It must be the tacos and big margaritas.

Food is fresh and delicious! Margaritas are amazing, and they do not skimp on the tequila!! Mariachi band on Saturday night is a lot of fun! =)

I have always loved Mexican food, but after living a short time in Texas, I realized that what we have in Florida does not compare. It has been many years since I have Mexican food that I considered to be really good. This was really good. It was authentic Mexican home-style cooking. They did it right. The prices were also very reasonable. Dinner, drinks, and dessert for four people was $54. The staff was also very polite and friendly. Our waiter was very on the ball. Nothing sat empty on our table for much more than a minute, and refills came quickly. This was my first visit, but I can foresee myself becoming a regular.

The first trip was great. Good food, great service. We returned a few weeks later and had the worst experience. Our waitress seemed angry over something and didn't listen to our order, so we got the wrong food. We tried to be nice and eat it, rather than wait another 20 minutes with a toddler in tow. The waitress seemed confussed at us being upset. We were so disheartened. We thought we had found a great mexican restaurant and with a sick child who can't eat gluten, mexican is perfect. If the restaurant is having a good night it's great, when it's bad you don't get any food you want and the bill ends up being $40. Eat at your own risk, personally we won't be going back.

We go to the one in Wesley Chapel and it is great!!! The people that work here are so kind and hospitable. The food is great!!! We come here relax, have margaritas after a long week of work. We also invite our family and friends when they are in town. They all love it!

Well, what can I say that already has not? Los Vallarta's is a great place to eat, portions are more than ample and the service is good. Catch them on a Friday and Saturday night for live Mariachi music. My daughter is a big fan...If you have a big appetite, go with the Steak a la Tampiquena or Carne Asada. Prices are very reasonble as well.
