That's Amore is a romantic Italian restaurant tucked away on Tampa's Harbour Island with a serene waterfront views of the downtown Tampa skyline. Customers can enjoy an authentic Italian dinner and a glass of wine by candlelight while listening to piano music. Enjoy serene views of Garrison Channel and Tampa's moonlit city skyline. Diners can also relax and enjoy a sunset meal outside on the patio or arrive via boat or book Tampa Bay Water Taxi. Menu items include antipasto, several specialty pastas, seafood dishes and Italian desserts.
Lovely little restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere. However, the waitress spilled red wine in my friend s lap. She provided club soda that we requested but never returned to the table or offer any other concern. We had already closed out the bill or we could have at least reflected that in our tip. Accidents happen, but staff must at least show concern.
My wife and I were at a conference in Tampa and stayed at the Marriot. The hotel restaurant was completely overpriced, so we ate at that's amore. We had an eggplant appetizer that excellent. We both had dishes with shrimp. The only complaint we could find is the shrimp was not de-tailed. Our waiter was attentive. I will say the bathroom was outdated. However, overall it was a very pleasant dining experience, but how could it be bad while dining with my beautiful wife?
Went there today for a wedding shower. I don't know WHERE April (4/26/10) went...but it was not HERE. Very clean, waiters were attentive and food was most excellent! Owner (A lady) was sweet. I only wished I lived there so I could eat there more often!
If I could give more than 5 stars....I would! =)
This is the worst restaurant in Tampa! The decore looks likethey bought it at the salvation army. The place was filithy, cheese and crumbs everywhere and dead bugs on the window sills! The food is rediculously overpriced. They charged me $18.00 for lasagna that they served to me frozen in the middle! For $18.00 my food should be fresh not frozen! My dates $23.00 veal was pork not veal. The owners wife and daughter care more about getting themselves drinks then worring about the customers! The owner, all he wants to do is play the piano instead of running his restaurant. I have never eaten somewhere that cared less about the quality of their food in my entire life. What a waste!!!
this place is very bad i dont care if the owner come and say hello the place is very bar the owenr and his doughtr are fake they smil in your face and then will talk about you they are not nice do not go there do not
WOW.. I couldn't have been more pleased with our overall Valentines day experience. It was PERFECT! The environment, decor, atmosphere.. all top knotch. The food was very good, and the personal attention given by the owner couldn't have been any better. They had it decorated nice for the occasion and the added piano music really set the mood. I love to people watch and ddin't see one couple who wasn't having a great time. Everyone was smiling and seemed to really be enjoying themselves. We are definitely going to visit again. If the lobster ravioli is on the regular menu, I highly recommend it. It was fabulous.
This is a very nice and romantic restaurant. My fiance and I actually went there for my birthday and the staff there was really attentive. The owners came by our table to greet us and asked us how was our food was.The food was great and we have since been back numerous times. There was even piano music playing in the background.
